Strathcona Elementary Public School

It's good and a nice environment

We are immigrants and my daughter attended a very bad school there, things happened to her there because she did not know English. I really do not recommend it.

My nephew has had numerous issues at this school. From kids bullying him, and provoking him to do things they know he will get in trouble for. Today February 13,2018 an OLDER student trapped him in the bathroom and my nephew was suspended for hitting this child because the student was purposely blocking my nephew from getting out of the bathroom. Then my nephew was suspended because he was physical... The school released no information, claimed that the suspension was final and that is the end of it" as the current "temporary principle" stated to me. The note sent home states that my nephew is being suspended because he unprovacatively hit this other student. Meanwhile... I was in the principles office and asked my nephew straight what happend today and he claimed this student trapped him and wouldn't let him out. But this was not written in the letter

I saw a teacher hit a special ed kid and the principal did nothing

This place is great! I suggest anyone going if they really had too! It is not so modern but it is great enough!
