Okotoks Dog Lodge

Cara was so kind and patient with my one year old pup that had never been to a kennel. She built trust with my dog right away by not rushing anything and giving my dog space to explore on her own. I found the cost to be very comparable to other dog daycares/kennels. I felt like Cara really cared for my dog and treated all the dogs as individuals and respected their own unqiue ways. I truly appreciate someone that takes their time to get to know me (the pup parent) and my dog. Will be booking again and again!

Hands down the best dog boarding in Alberta! Pickles and Beans were treated so well…and we had happy boys coming home! We live in Edmonton…and will continue to go to Okotoks to board our dogs because we know they are loved and cared for. Thank you so much to Cara and Anna…the boys are looking forward to coming back in the summer!

This was our first time leaving Bella (1 year old Golden Retriever) with anyone, and we couldn't have left her in better hands! Cara was absolutely fantastic with her! We went away to Mexico and had Bella stay at the Okotoks Dog Lodge for 12 days. The entire time we were away, Cara would post pictures and videos of the pups running and playing. It was so nice to be able to see Bella having such a great time and socializing with the other pups. The facility is clean and very well kept, with lots of room for the dogs to roam. Cara plays with the dogs and provides lots of activities for them to tucker them out. When we picked Bella up after our trip she seemed very calm, happy, and even seemed sad to leave haha. Thank you for providing such a wonderful environment for our Bella to stay when we can't bring her with us! I highly recommend this place to anyone, you will not be disappointed!!! I would not hesitate to recommend Cara and Okotoks Dog Lodge. I have worked from home since we welcomed Creed almost 6 years ago. He is always by my side and rarely alone. Because of this he has anxiety when we are not around. In February Creed had his first weekend at Okotoks Dog Lodge - Cara was amazing not only making Creed feel at home, but also won us over with her above the bar care and service. So much so, Creed just spent 10 days and did wonderfully. In the past, we would pick him up after a week, he would be stressed and full of anxiety. Not this time! He spent 10 days running, playing and having the absolute best time. Cara cares for your fur baby the same as her own. I know we have found a wonderful place for Creed when we are away. I can’t thank Cara enough. She is a wonderful person who truly cares. Thank you Cara and Okotoks Dog Lodge crew. You’re all amazing and we appreciate all you do!

My pup and his buddy have been going here for a few months now. They get so excited to go and start whining with excitement the closer we get. Cara is amazing and you can tell she loves your pup as much as you do! The pups come home exhausted and live their best life every time they go there!

We absolutely love the Okotoks dog lodge. Like many others we got a dog during Covid. She wasn't socialized enough for a year with other people or dogs. Cara was super sweet and welcoming and I had the feeling she gave our dog the time and space she needed to slowly get used to daycare. And at the end of her first afternoon at the dog lodge our dog decided Cara was her best friend. Our dog Izzy had many fun daycare days by now and even an overnight stay. Cara always sends or posts pictures and updates and I can see Izzy always has the best time. She has the best sleeps when she comes home. If you are looking for a daycare that treats your dog like a family member...look no further!

They took great care of my pup this weekend, loved seeing pictures of him while he was there. Wonderful placement of pups in appropriate groups, all with great space to run and shallow pools to play in for the heat. He was outside most of the day and came home tuckered out. I highly recommend and I’ll be using them again for sure.

We've been taking our puppy to Cara at the dog lodge for a month now and he loves it. Cara is super accommodating and great with the dogs. He comes home exhausted and so much calmer (he's still a puppy with lots of energy). Can't recommend her enough!

Cara was so sweet in answering all my questions and giving me a thorough tour of the place. My energetic 5 month old puppy came back after a day and night at the dog Lodge happy and calm. He played so much he seemed like a totally different and calm puppy. Definitely will be sending him back.
