Armour Shield Insulation
We recently had our cottage floor/crawl space spray formed and it made a noticeable difference. Our cottage is mostly heated by a woodstove in the winter but the spray formed gets the cottage warmer quicker and stays warmer longer. Armour Shield was able to get all the way under the cottage (even with the 100 year tree stumps) and do a great job at spraying on the insulation.

Armour Shield Insulation
I had spray foam insulation applied to the crawlspace. It is quite warm down there now and they did a really good job applying it. They made sure the job was done right even if it took extra time. Note that you need a day for spray foam and you cannot stay in the house overnight while it cures. The second day is a thermal paint application. Overall, I'm happy with the work, but they could improve in their communication a bit more.

The people at armour shield did everything above standard. The owner is very careful about training staff to do the job right. They take great pains to make sure everything is prepared properly and the insulation is able to adhere & do its job. Our floors were noticeably warmer the next day. It did take longer than anticipated to complete all aspects of the job but this was partly due to weather. We are very happy with the results. Once the lattice was replaced at the base of our cottage (pic) we couldn’t tell they’d been here except for the warm floors.
