Solar YYC

Solar YYC just completed my Solar System in April 2023 and have been very happy with the results and process. I researched 3 companies before my decision and Solar YYC provided the most reasonable quote.Their front staff (including the owner Alex) were extremely professional and responsive to all my questions throughout the process, from initial quote to post-installation support. I was told the installation may take 2 days but the installation crew completed it the same day. They were extremely professional, friendly and respectful.Would definitely recommend their services to friends and family.

Solar YYC did a wonderful job at explaining the process and ensuring the installation was efficient and high quality. I am impressed by the monitoring system and the Sense meter that showed me which appliances were causing high energy usage. Special thank you to TJ and Jordan for being responsive and making the process easy. Also shoutout to the Design Team and Installation Crew who were always professional and courteous. Matt was the crew lead and was able to answer all my questions. Definitely worth the wait and can't wait to see my electricity bills this summer

SolarYYC did an amazing job on our install. Their crews with professional, speedy and conscientious. Everything in the install was done neatly. The electrical inspector who came by commented on how well done the work was. I can say with 100% confidence that if you're looking for a solar install they should be at the top of your list.

SolarYYC did a fantastic and professional job. TJ the PM was very responsive and helpful, especially with all the programs that are available for microgenerators that offer added value and having to continually wait for the Greener Homes program to get their act together. The installers were quick and friendly and did a great job of providing an overview of how everything worked. Highly recommended.

Thanks to Alex, TJ, Jordan, Brant and the installation crew. Fantastic team and real happy with the solar panel energy produced thus far using the new Longi 545 solar panels. One of the reasons i chose SolarYYC is they were easy to deal with, approachable, answered all my questions and kept me in the loop with the progress of the installation. Last, i know this might not matter to everyone but the area for solar panels in my house is limited but SolarYYC was the only company that came with a solution to optimize it and produce the most power.

We researched a couple of solar options when we decided to make use of the Greener Homes Grant. We selected Solar YYC based upon their promise that our final price wouldn't increase if something came up during installation, and their warranty. They were true to their word, and we paid exactly what we were quoted. Their crews were professional and friendly. If we had any issues, in terms of scheduling, they worked to accommodate our schedule. We flipped the switch last month, so we haven't seen how much our potential bill credits will be, but the system comes with an APP. It is cool to see what we are generating even in cloudy weather. If we get to a point where we need to expand our set up, we’ll happily return to them. If you have patience with the Greener Homes Grant program, it is well worth investing in.

They did an excellent job from start to finish. They helped me make sense of the greener homes process and the solar components as well. I had a ton of questions about the solar and they were great at responding to me all the time. If I were to do it again I would get Solar YYC in a heartbeat. A few of the things that I thought were really top notch. The installers dug a trench between the house and garage and they made sure to put all the garden plants back as best possible. They also worked with me to adjust the placement of my main panel to help with a future project. Those little things along with the crew who was doing the installing being great made the project pretty smooth. I also love the system installed and how it easily shows all the real time data coming from the panels!

From start to finish, our experience with Solar YYC was exceptional. Manuela met with us to discuss our energy usage, potential panel needs, and ultimate cost savings. She was able to assist us with information regarding Canada Greener Homes Grant and Loan to make the process easier to navigate. Alex and Jordan were helpful in getting our panels installed in a timely manner with all appropriate inspections arranged by them. They also provided helpful information post-installation regarding solar clubs and solar offset credits, all helpful in paying down the panels faster.
