Great comfy location. Decent coffee. Love that they have books to peruse. Clean washrooms. A bit pricey and no loyalty program. Nice staff.

I always love stopping by for a tea. Staff are friendly and efficient and the café vibes are immaculate. I wish there were more food options than pastries though.

Amazing staff. They know what they’re doing. I didn’t know coffee could taste this good! I seriously recommend the single origin coffees. And the cherry pie. Wonderful place to go to before 8:30 lectures.

This place surprised me! I assumed that their desserts were going to be the usual unimpressive coffee chain desserts. I was wrong. Wow, their almond cookie was amazing! Don't miss this one! This place was hopping with customers. They have fair trade and organic products. They encourage eco-friendliness.Vegan/Gluten Free: They have desserts for you!Non coffee drinkers: They have a raspberry hot chocolate and hot apple cider!Bakery items: They source their bakery items either exclusively or mostly from two bakeries.Noise level: It isn't super quiet, and it isn't loud.Dining options: Indoor or takeout.

Went here today with my dad grabbed a couple cappuccino. Really good service and it was amazing. Nice little spot to sit and read or play a game. Will be around more often. Thanks

Staff left a bad taste in my mouth. Was talking amongst themselves when I came up and when I prompted them for my order was not greeted in any friendly manner or helped with the menu when I asked for help. Drink really wasn’t worth the cost and overall probably won’t go back.

Wowow! If you love coffee and supporting local, visit planet bean! I'm personally not a coffee drinker, but I almost became one from the smell!Instead I ordered a jasmine tea (bonus points every time a cafe has more than one green tea option!), a strawberry fruit bar and berry muffin.The tea was great, and the snacks were delicious! I honestly might come back for the fruit bar!!The interior is much more spacious than I expected, and large windows give tons of natural light to make a great study spot!Staff are super friendly and nice!!

I come here often, because the coffee is great. However, the last 4-5 times i've visited the shop the service has been especially bad. Staff were not welcoming or friendly at all. It was so off putting that it inspired me to write this review. Also the iced coffee price ($5+) is unfair for the small size they give you. If it was a larger size this would be forgivable.

Wi-Fi is a hidden message this location but more importantly is the ambulance it has the feel of a cafeteria it's loud sound bounces off the walls and it's not really that great of a location. I find the servers a little bit snotty and overall not really the warmest experience. The only thing going forward is at the coffee is roasted locally it's fair trade in the summer they have an excellent selection of gelato

Fresh roasted beans, excellent coffee, yummy treats, (vegan + gluten free options) tons of places to sit and enjoy a beverage or get some work done, or meet someone and opportunities to support fair trade crafters and farmers.It is arguably the best place to get a coffee while downtown.Following a logical set-up, the layout of the coffee house allows for easy navigability of the space whether you are laden w/a stroller, kinders, or use a mobility device.Located at an opposite corner to the Guelph Central commuter station, this location is accessible, operates ethically and is a staple of the downtown core.
