Truro Big Stop Restaurant
Very friendly staff.I just ate supper and had Roslyn as my server. She is awesome!I was told before I came to the Maritimes that the Big Stops were the best. So far they have been awesome.

Haven't been to an Big Stop in 10 years and I remember the one in Aulds Cove being quite good, but was a quite disappointed this time by the small serving of food. But at least the service/server was nice. The pan fried haddock with mashed potatoes and previously frozen carrots (previously frozen carrots, why??) was just ok, nothing special, I could have made it 10 times better. It was NOT a trucker's sized meal, unless the trucker was a 10 year old child. It will be 10+ more before I visit another Big Stop.

We were on our way through to New Brunswick from the Annapolis Valley and we decided to stop here for lunch. We have a big stop locally and it's always a good place to stop and eat. We stopped here because we are familiar with the menu options and we are familiar with their entire setup because it's relatively consistent across all of their establishments.My children had the chicken strips with fries. My wife had wings and I had a Caesar wrap. We ate a couple of weeks ago at a or at least what was supposed to be an upscale restaurant and the chicken salad Caesar wrap was absolutely dreadful. The one that I got from here however at the big stop was very delicious. The kids enjoyed their food and my wife complimented about how good the wings were.It was affordable and comfortable. The food was better quality than what was expected and what we've had in the past. We were quite happy with our experience today

Went mid afternoon, maybe 6 other tables took 1/2 hr to get out meals and I ordered the special and it was served luke warm. Waitress however was very friendly.

I bought baked goods there paid a fair amount for them only to come home and find out they were all dried out. One item I picked up you had to pay for at one side of the store and the other two items you had to pay for inside the restaurant. Not going to buy food there again.

Been to multiple big stops it’s my favourite when I travel. This one is by far the most rude staffed and food is not near as good as everywhere else

We’re there yesterday waitress was great along with the food. Must also say very impressed with the young fellow cleaning up tables. This young man did not miss a trick. Really on the ball.

Quick service. Food is good. Pretty basic fare. I am not a fan of their fish & chips, but the carrot cake is absolutely heavenly.

Really love the food, high 5 to the waitresses and waitor. We will go back again.
