Loved the rental in Fairmont. High Country properties gave excellent service. I appreciated being able to reach them in person for specific questions. Rates were better than Airbnb.

Rented a house last Lent @ Invermere, and was very pleased with the property it was over our expectation. Nice, clean, complete kitchen, linens and very spacious! We loved it and I recommended it to my friends already...

High Country Properties was super easy to deal with, very friendly and we had an amazing condo overlooking Lake Windermere. Nice accommodation steps from downtown Invermere.

Booked an extended family vacation at Panorama is their Super Condo (10 kids, 8 adults).Pros-*Huge space! Very roomy. The room with the bunk bed also has a large closet and an ensuite bathroom with shower.*Very close to chairlift. (Although we came in summer)Cons-*First huge mistake- they didn’t inform us ahead of time that there is a boil water advisory in the area. If they had, we could have changed plans, or at very least brought water jugs in.*Aparently water advisories are not uncommon, meaning that they really should provide water dispenser in the suites. (They don’t)*no A/C, and very few fans provided. If you’re coming in summer, make sure to bring your own fan.*the appliances in this suite are terrible. The fridge doesn’t work (to their credit, they did send a repair man promptly. To their discredit, it’s just a sucky fridge.) The washer/ dryer can’t be used simultaneously, the dryer doesn’t dry well, the handle on the microwave is broken off, and the dishwasher left residue on the first load of dishes, but seemed to do better later on. High country really needs to just replace them with appliances that work. Oh, and the electrical outlet in our bathroom didn’t work.*its old. Some Reno’s have been done, but they look a bit sloppy. This place would be such a treat if it were done well, with just a bit of better maintenance. It’s a shame. We definitely won’t be back.

I am loathe to write a review but this was a disappointing experience. We were meeting family we've not seen in 3 yrs because of the pandemic.Positives:1.Central Location close to parks, downtown, beaches, garbage dump2. Easy booking process/decent cxl policy3. Fit our family of 6 adults and 2 kids4. Had A/C5. Laundry in-suite6. Prompt response about washer not working7. Refunded the cost of my extra hotel bill & laundry costs (see below)The many NOT positives:Background: I have a severe scent allergy that causes instant migraine headaches, nausea & dizziness1. A few weeks after booking, I contacted them to ask that the cleaning staff not use any kind of scented products, including laundry products due to my allergy. That was met with subtle subtext that they wouldn't have booked my stay had they known this beforehand.I reduced my request for no air or fabric fresheners to be used & was told that cleaning staff would be notified.I was planning to do laundry and bring soap so could rewash linens & towels if needed2. CHECK IN day:When i stepped inside, i was instantly met with a punch-in-the-face of air freshener. While my partner went in and collected 9 air fresheners and one container of Febreeze from the unit, I was lucky enough to find a hotel to book last minute so i had somewhere to go that night, while the place aired out.It was very upsetting and stressful to not have my simple request taken seriously, made worse by missing out on family time.3. The den/4th bedroom was a finished utility room that they'd put a double bed into, with a saggy pull-out couch that was not usable (for sitting or sleeping on). There was nothing to put your clothes into or on, no hooks on the wall to even hang anything. The lighting was dim at best and this is where the laundry was.4. Generally run-down and poorly maintained.Fans in the unit were really filthy, and one was completely broken (like not just not working but the blades inside in pieces). AC helped but 'den' was freezing while the upstairs areas all needed fans. Not enough toilet paper on hand for the length of stay for 8 people.Back door didn't close properly unless kept locked. Front patio door was difficult to open and keep closed as well.Washing machine leaked so we had to take laundry to the laundromat to wash (dryer was working) at $4 per load. Thankfully the linens/towels were not washed with scented products as obviously my plan to rectify that wouldn't have worked out.Backyard was unkempt- littered with pine cones and grass uncut/not kept upKitchen chairs were completely worn out- sunken in the middle causing the wooden frame of the seat to be felt. There were only 6 chairs so we couldn't eat as a family, even though the place was meant for 8-10.5. NOT a well-appointed kitchen as advertised. We wound up buying a cutting board (there was only 1 that was really gross) and sharp knives to use, along with a BBQ scraper (which we left there for others to use). Not enough dishes/glass wear/cutlery for the number of people they say can comfortably use the space. We had to hand wash breakfast and lunch dishes so we'd have enough for dinner.BBQ was not working well (temp guage not functional at all, hot spots, cold spots) and the BBQ brush was the metal bristle which is dangeroud and was disgusting anyway and needed to be replaced..Stove burners were worn and took forever to heat food. Not enough pots and pans although had a rolling pin but no pie plate??Kettle was unusable due to calcium build up from never being cleaned.6. Informed by a note on the fridge that we were responsible for taking recycling and trash to the dump, which would have been nice to be made aware of at the time of booking. Not the worst problem but certainly inconvenient to not know the expectation upfront.

The place we rented was nice in general. The dishes were all dirty and had to be rewashed, we called them about about a few issues but did not seem to care. Floors were absolute disgusting and I believe they have never seen a mop on them, had to buy dark socks to save my nice white ones. Garbage as well was a huge issue as they wanted to charge us 20 dollars a bag as the dump was closed on holidays. Zero planning for holidays for clients to get things done. Also the garage was not included so all our clothing had to sit and dry in space that need to be occupied after skiing. Best to check your place over before settling in.

My parents and I rented 2 properties for the long weekend this past May in Panorama. Susan was very helpful with check in and directions, and instructions in the guest handbook were clear. Properties were clean and tidy. They provided a lot of towels and ving cards to the springs as they knew we had a very big family coming in to stay. My mom has already recommended them to her coworkers!
