Professional & yet practical service as always.( over 12 years ) John and team are very thoughtful and service oriented! I always feel that John reads through Condo Status Certificates in depth before offering his advice. He once caught that the city had not yet issued the original live in permit/approvals on a condo I going to purchase...where two other purchases of the same units had been made and this was not picked up. Attention to detail!.He had the seller clear it up before I bought.

Called for a free consultation"! What a joke. Spoke to someone for 10 mins on the phone. They did nothing then sent me a bill for $150 for the "free consultation". Then they agreed to except a portion of the money but sent it into collections.My advice to anyone is stay clear from this place. That's just my personal opinion."

I spent over a year and a half working with them. It took over a year to have a financial statement written up by them. I had to ask for phone calls with my lawyer to ask her to send letters to the respondent. She didn’t respond to any of the letters the respondent sent to their office. Eventually I asked for all of my paperwork back & it didn’t even include a copy of the statement they wrote for me. I paid them almost $2000 for nothing. Pick a different lawyer. You will not be a priority here.

I was verbally quoted a price and billed approximately 3 times that amount 2 weeks later. Customer service at that time was terrible. Was a bad experience.

I have used the McGarrity Firm for my last two home sale and purchases. The firm is efficient, friendly and above all else extremely easy to work with. No question was ever too small and all transactions were timely and went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend John and his firm for future legal needs.

I asked for a codicil for my Will and was quoted $150-$300. They made a whole new Will and said I owed them $800. When I complained they said they’d give it to me at a reduced price. I agreed to it if they fixed the mistakes in the Will. I get an email from the secretary telling me I need to pay for the Will before I go in to sign it. I said I’m not paying for it until I see that it’s right. Next I get a call saying they’re going to send it to a collection agency if I don’t pay. They fixed the mistakes and I got the new Will. The whole experience was stressful and upsetting.
