Found the set to be tough but so good, enjoyed every minute on the wall. The moves are strong and technical. I would say if your a climber coming through and you have time to stop... Do so... You won't regret it! Friendly staff and wonderful environment.

Its a good thing we already knew what to do when we showed up for the first time. There was virtually no signage when we entered and approached the front desk. The girl working the desk barely looked up from her phone and told me and my family to fill in a waiver behind us on the Ipad and she gestured to a bin and told us shoes and harnesses were over there all while on her phone. The gym itself is not too bad, but advanced for a starter. The auto belay systems are standard but only a few were available. The space is small and not a lot of variety for beginners, intermediates and advanced climbers. The gym is mainly set up for advanced climbers.

You can climb there. Also a really sad photo showing that students need a food bank to eat and afford college at the same time. It's kind of freaky, some kind kind boring economic dystopia were in huh. Anyway lots of sweaty people with kids, and 20 somethings.

Quality setting and density. One of the few places where I actually remember the interesting problems days after climbing. I like that it is graded harder than outdoors climbs in the area to compensate for the taping factor (moves are obvious indoors whereas outdoors it is a game of finding beta).

Very well run community climbing gym. When the old private climbing gym closed Nelson was without one for a couple years then the climbing community came together and through fundraising and lots of volunteer hours found a location, built a beautiful space, and reignited the sport locally. It's small and can get crowded but the routes stay fresh and the people are friendly and supportive no matter what level you're at.

We went looking for something for the kids to do. I called before going to enquire and I was told kids are welcome. But the feeling I got there is that they are not welcome. The guy told me about 50 times not to let the kids run around. They did not move from my side, and he still kept reminding us. I got the sense that it was a private club and not very welcoming. I would not recommend it for young climbers. Maybe 18 plus only. We stayed for 30 min and we headed out. I told guy we would never back.

Nice wall with tall boulder problems and short sport routes. Small floor area can be a bit claustrophobic when busy, but the route setting is good quality & frequently updated. Stiff grades!
