Softron Tax

Last year at the Carlton Street location, when masks were still required, two staff and one customer were maskless. I proceeded anyway against my better judgement, only because I had dealt with them for 10 years and all my information was with them. That location has since closed so March 1st I went to the 127 Yonge Street location. Today March 7/23, because apparently that's how long it takes them to figure out their mistakes, I get a call. Did you know if you make charity donations to the U.S or anywhere outside of Canada (where they convert Canadian dollars to us) you cannot claim them? I certainly didn't know but the accountant" if she really is one should have known. Now my tax refund is $600 less than it should be with a delay. This company is unprofessional and NEVER EVER let Sarajean do your tax claims!!! I will be contacting Revenue Canada and the BBB. No apology was offered

I had such a great experience with Vandana all 3 years in the row! She is professional with positive work attitude and lovely personality.It is usually busy during the tax period, combined together appointments and walk-ins. So it is a good idea to call to schedule appointment.Vandana always reply to my questions with full explanation , since I not familiar with taxes a lot.Overall, I have a positive experience with Vandana at Softron Taxes, that keeps me back to them every year!

Scam Alert !I went there to do my corporate taxes, in their 250 Carlton Location. The guys who's name was Navjoot told me that he will charge me no more than 200$ for my corporate taxes. After few weeks of delay, not responding my phones and emails someone else contacted me and asked me for 600$. They knew that I am not in Canada and have no other option other than paying them what they've asked for. I will sue them anyway, but don't recommend you to go through what I've gone. AVOID their service!

In 2017, I got my taxes done by Vandana from Softron Tax in DT Toronto. Credit to her because a lone employee managing everything takes a lot of effort. Maybe for this reason, they decided to jack up the price 5 times the usual. I ended up paying $250+ for filing my first return in Canada on the basis of just one (my) T4. Because of the service, I decided to give them an extra star.

Best services that I have ever seen. Especially when coming to filing CRA for the first time I had so many issues with my given name and family name combinations. I happened to call couple of tax consultants in downtown like SRJ which has worst reception staffs who were so much reluctant to even take in appointments. Amidst such negative entities I would say this one is best. It was a way too expensive against $30 which is the usual amount that we pay for filing agents as I was charged $147, given the fact the kind of complexities I had which is okay for the first time. I believe I would not end up paying so much next time. The front end staff who’s name is Vandana was so much down to earth, friendly and patient enough to bear all the mess with my T4s names etc., She deserves an applause certainly.
