After 2 sets of injections my pain is still there but now I have continuous numbness in my hands and feet for over a month. When I called to ask about it I was told it had nothing to do with the injections. After some extensive research I found that nerve damage from these injections is quite common although no one will admit that this could be a side effect. Apparently, this is quite a lucrative business by the way people are moved through like cattle. Health care in Alberta is now more of a money making business and less humanitarian. That's the conservatives for you. Money first.

Went for my first nerve blocking injection and was nervous. Every single person with whom I interacted with there was absolutely caring, compassionate and calming. 100% best service and care I’ve had at a medical facility in a long time.

Black male, curly hair, glasses, and black scrubs working 2nd floor reception was openly racist and abusive. The most unprofessional attitude I have ever encountered in Medicine. Don't forget to read all the signs saying they don't tolerate abuse though. Every other person there was kind and professional. If you have had a stroke and don't move very fast or can't stand for long periods of time, you will miss your appointment because reception does not care. You MUST stand exactly where they want you to if you are to receive any acknowledgement at all. If the choice is between this place and death. I'd choose death. Response to Owner: If you take this feedback seriously, then take it seriously. This review will remain. A feedback form on your website is not taking it seriously.

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Dr. Patel for getting me in for a RF Nerve Ablation so quickly. The extreme pain I have been and his caring and understanding of patients needs has been a blessing.I can't thank the doctors and technical staff at the Advance Spinal Care enough for the professional, compassionate care they have given me.The reception ladies and technician's all make the experience less stressful with their kind and always smiling faces.I have had many injections, and have never had a bad experience.I wish to thank Dr. McDougall, Dr. Park, Dr. Wiens, Michelle , Dana, and all the exceptional staff who work weekends and through the week to help people like me try to keep their pain management under control.I don't know what I would do without this wonderful facility.My sincere thanksPamela McNeely

I get cortisone injections for my neck here. The staff & doctors are always professional, helpful & accommodating. I get anxious about the shots at times & I have had many good experiences with understanding doctors & staff. Front staff are always attentive & quick to help. Parking is validated at the front desk.

Went to their Veterans Place location in Calgary today for a mammogram. I chose this over Mayfair Diagnostics at Market Mall, just to try something new. I won't do that again the next time.The problem was parking at the Veterans Place location. The surface parking lot is a bit of a walk from the main entrance. Also, parkers have to figure out the ticket machine to pay for parking. On a cold winter day, this will be unpleasant. I paid $4.75 for an hour parking. Considering that there's no such hassle over at the Market Mall location and the service was very similar, I'd definitely not use this location again.

Had my nerve ablation done here. Worst experience ever. Got a third degree burn. Which they would not take ownership of. Out hundreds of dollars for treating the burn. Found another clinic that did the nerve ablation with no pain or burn. Won’t be back. Should be a zero star.

I have been to EFW a number of times and feel that it offers the gold standard of care. I have always been warmly treated by the individuals at the front desk. The doctors and their assistants have been outstanding. The doctors have taken the time to discuss my medicals issues, the treatments that they were about to provide and have suggestions and alternatives if the treatment did not address the pain that I was experiencing. I would like to thank them for the high level of care.

I had an appointment to get a cortisone short for a swollen disk in my spine. I was experiencing severe sciatica (leg pain) to the point of passing out a few times in the previous months.Upon arrival, the doctor doing the shot took a look at my MRI, noticed that cortisone wouldn't do anything, and elected to do a selective nerve block instead. The pain relief was instantaneous, and has lasted at least two and a half months (they can only safely do them every three months).I commend the doctor for making an excellent informed decision, and the staff (both in-person and on the phone) for being very patient and kind with someone in a great deal of pain.
