Friendly staff! The cabins were amenable but quite dirty. Good location, close to The Scoop.

Comfortable lodgings, spacious for a large group with room to spare. A decent price point when splitting with a group - make sure to bring your own quality cooking utensils!

No A/C so if humid and hot out, do not stay here! Was told we don’t need ac because it’s surrounded by trees and the rooms do not need ac…..I believed them ( big mistake). Had to haul mattresses downstairs and sleep on floor with fan blowing directly on you. Wife had to spend 1 night in car because it was so hot in room she felt sick!! Paid $250/night, supposed to have satellite tv so we planned on movie night with kids but that didn’t work either, no sat tv at all. Very clean and enough room but definitely not worth $250/night!! Asked for a refund for for last night but they refused to give any type of refund. Do not stay here!!!! Spoke to others staying here and they could not sleep in there rooms either. Way overpriced!!!!!!! Not happy

Quiet, comfortable, clean, friendly atmosphere,wonderful to cook breakfast and watch the elk. Stay if you can.

Service was excellent, rooms were nice and clean! I had forgotten a few things in the suite after checking out and the staff were nice and accommodating about getting my items back from the room immediately!

We called to book and they were great. Unfortunately 4 days before we have to cancel so I called them and she said it’s $75 cancellation fee. When I said no one told us that there was a fee to cancel she said “well you didn’t ask”Don’t great customer service until I said you can’t do that and she said she’ll look into it and credit it back

The location is nice and rooms themselves are nice. However, i believe this is a pet friendly hotel, and cleanliness is lacking as we found evidence of lack of cleanliness everywhere in the room. Owner is relatively accommodating to requests and needs, but did notice she has 3 jobs and once guests have paid, their needs come secondary to her businesses/capitalism. Also noticed she appeared irritated when guests would make routine requests, maybe work towards customer service. Meant as constructive criticism, Thanks for letting us stay here.

Overall a good place to stay, the owners are kind and good people.

This location is not air conditioned. Internet is very very slow. We had a one bedroom which was spacious. This one bedroom cooled off in the evening, the two storey units are very hot in summer and not pleasant at all according to other guests comments who were staying at the time. Poorly equipped, everything is set up very cheaply. Bare 2x4 frames on bottom of chairs in place of legs. (I took pictures, it was so weird) the chair itself was pretty comfortable though. The hideabed used as a couch would hurt your legs because the pullout handles stuck up under your knees. No fry pan, rusted wok, no BBQ lighter, no cutting boards etc. It looks like other guests were keeping this unit equipped...best of the bad knives was a hunting knife. Bed sloped and pillows were old and flat. Building is older and not upgraded.(which I don't mind if the location was cared for) Cutlery was China's cheapest made as is all the other utensils and bed linens. I would have liked to talk to management to give them some suggestions but they operate two other businesses and are hard to track down. I would not stay here again as we've been told that for the same money, there are many nicer locations with attentive owners. Booking early is the key!! We paid $185 per night and two bedrooms were $250 per night.

It is definitely not one of the topnotch cabins you can rent in Waskesiu. Its modest, but I guess that is reflected in its price. I have stayed here at two occasions and found it to be clean. The staff/owner was helpful too. Once one of the propane tank ran out and he immediately rushed to replace it.
