Grey Lantern Tattoos

This place is so wonderful and I could not recommend it highly enough. It’s a small, intimate studio located in a house in New West, but don’t let that scare you! Both Faye and Paul are very welcoming and they make the whole process easy and painless (as much as is possible with a tattoo anyway ;]).Faye is so excellent – her art is gorgeous, she’s both incredibly creative and easy-going with her designs, and she’s happy to work collaboratively through any requested changes. She’s really friendly and it’s clear that she wants to make sure that you love the design before it goes on your body forever. As a tattooer she’s super fast and relaxed, and the studio is clean and well set up.My tattoo is healing quickly with no issues. The only thing I might recommend is that the studio start selling lotions for aftercare.Really pleased with the final result -- I will definitely be coming back for my next one!! <3

I had the pleasure of getting a tattoo from Faye Basravi at Grey Lantern tattoo's. The experience was inclusive, body positive and I felt very comfortable. Faye is an amazing artist, and can pretty much do whatever the client requests. Faye is very detail oriented and encompasses a professional ethic. There were lots of checkins, explanations and when I needed it, quiet! The facility itself is very tranquil, clean and accessible by transit. I encourage you to book an appointment with Faye and get a tattoo, you will not be let down:)

I have been getting work done for 3 years by Paul. Including my first tattoo. He is an amazing artist. The studio is in a great location, with parking, cozy and very clean. If you are thinking of getting a tattoo do not hesitate in going to Grey Lantern.

The afternoon I spent at Grey Lantern Tattoos was a serene and calming experience for me- something I had previously never experienced at another tattoo studio. Faye did a fantastic job designing a tattoo that fit my tattoo aesthetic perfectly. They were diligent in ensuring the sizing and placement were exact and to my liking before starting our session as well. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone who's looking to get a tattoo in general, but especially for those who might prefer being tattooed in a relaxing and a non-overstimulating environment.

Faye is an absolutely wonderful tattoo artist. They have become a good friend of mine through the past few years and has completed 3 custom designed pieces that I love so much. Faye gives me the the most beautiful tattoos and the greatest experience. They are such a lovey individual. I enjoyed making jokes at Paul during my last appointment

Faye is amazing!! She was very welcoming as soon as I got there. With it being only my second tattoo, I felt right at ease. She was very gentle during the process, I barely felt like I was being tattooed.During the planning phase she listened to what I wanted done with the tattoo and adjusted to any changes I wanted to make. I would strongly recommend her to do your next tattoo!

I had Faye do my first tattoo here and it was a great experience. The studio is a small room in an old house and there is only one artist working there at a time so it is very private and cozy. Faye did an excellent job and took the time to get the design right and make sure I was satisfied before starting.

I could not be happier with my experience at Grey Lantern Tattoos. After finding Paul online and researching his style, I contacted him with a plan to do a full sleeve of tomatoes and bees. I knew what I wanted, but I had no idea how I wanted it to look. Paul was amazing, he took my ideas and worked with me to create something I am so proud of! Each of our sessions was great, and Paul was great to chat and laugh with. The space was cute and quiet and it was awesome when Faye would pop by to chat and check in on the progress. I have never had such a positive tattoo experience before and I would recommend both Paul and Faye at Grey Lantern to anybody looking to get tattooed. I will certainly be back!
