Fascination Haircuts & Clothes

I'm not sure why this place is so highly rated on social media. I've booked appointments here twice, and I arrived on time for both appointments. Both times, I was kept waiting for over half an hour while the hairdresser started someone else's cut. The second time, I had to leave to be somewhere else. On my first visit, I managed to get a haircut. It was an okay cut, although I thought the stylist's words to me at the end were odd. When I asked if I could get a style, she admitted to me that she wasn't sure how style hair with product. I decided to give the place a second chance today, but unfortunately I was disappointed again. Considering a men's cut is generally only $3-$5 cheaper here than other places around, it's not worth the hassle.

Okay, I have nothing but positive things to say here. I just got my haircut and I was seeing how much attention to detail she has, the final look, just perfect. Exactly what I wanted. I can't believe I haven't been here before. My new favorite place for haircuts

Ute is very skilled, listens well, is efficient and does a great job, and all for a better price than other Canmore salons. I've tried other places, none as good as Ute. She's the owner of Fascinations so she really cares about quality.

Ute is absolutely wonderful!! I gave her an idea of what I needed done (highlights) and the budget I had to work with and she completely nailed it!! She does not push product or is constantly selling to you the time you are in the chair (which is a nice change). Ute will make product recommendations but it's up to you if you follow her advice. Very well priced and efficient.
