Regretfully, at the end of my conversation with this company, I had to call the guy an id*%t. Of course, this is never constructive. However, I was so frustrated I couldn’t help myself.I ordered a subscription of mixed exotic fruits. I realized I had given them the wrong shipping address within five minutes and changed it. I got a confirmation email thanking me for changing it. Regardless, the box went to Toronto (the original address) instead of Montreal (the changed address). These things happen. I get it.The person I spoke with suggested sending me a shipping label for the correct address in Montreal. He insisted the fruit should be fine. However, it had already taken two days to ship to Toronto. It was dripping water. It would be another two to three days before it arrived in Montreal. I was not confident the fruit would still be good.Here is the frustrating part: I have been in small business for 25 years. I know that every company has problems. However, (as they say), it is not if you have problems but how you deal with those problems that counts. Ask yourself, “How do I make this right such that the customer leaves me a positive review, recommends me to friends and family and (most importantly) continues or extends their subscription? The key to this is empathy: “I may think the fruit will be fine. However, my customer does not see it that way”. The most constructive solution is to apologize for the trouble and ship another box immediately. To lose the profit on a box of fruit and (maybe) part of the next is a small price to pay for the potential benefits. Handling the problem this way makes it much more likely that the customer leaves a review, gives referrals and comes back for more. The company turns a problem into an opportunity. Instead of this approach, I got: “You are trying to wiggle out of a mistake you made, and I am offering a solution to a problem you created.”This response is incredibly short-sighted and frustrating. As could be expected, I cancelled my subscription, wrote a negative review, and will not recommend them. I regret my id*#t comment. As I said, this language is never constructive. Hopefully, they’ll listen to these recommendations and change accordingly.

Best tropical fruit available in Montreal!It always has been extremely difficult to buy fruits, let alone tropical fruits, that had the chance to complete their organic ripening process in their natural environment. Also, as the selection process is carefully applied, the taste is heavenly. Finally, I must also add that I not only learned a lot but also discovered a great variety of specific fruits - such as mangos - that are unavailable in our city.My new favorite mango, newly discovered, is now Egyptian Owens. You would not believe the complex flavour profile. As complex as a fine white organic wine. I also use to dislike dragonfruit (even when I ate them in tropical countries). Now, I simply love them thanks to Pardess Farms.He gives Montrealer a rare opportunity to discover and appreciate tropical fruits at their best.A must try.

The best place to find exotic fruits! Tried Caimito (Star Apple) for the 1st time and it was out of this world, so sweet! Great quality, great customer service. Highly recommend, will definitely be reordering

The best place for fruits especially exotic ones! I don't go anywhere else to purchase my fruits as I won't find anything close to the quality I'm getting at Pardess Farms. The Mangos especially are to die for, and Michael is always a pleasure to deal with. He takes time handling each order with care and I've seen first hand how much effort he puts into making sure he gets the best quality that's out there. Michael you are amazing keep up the great work!!
