One of the best motel in small town of Liverpool. Two brother who basically run that place were awesome, super helpful, hardworking & very accommodating.

Visited the restaurant for the first time. Atmosphere is cozy and clean. Service was great, food was good too. Would recommend stopping here on your way through Liverpool.

Lunch May 22nd, 2023Had not been there in years; what a pleasant visit. The table orders ...fish n chips...nice batter near perfectly cooked, ...the clams were right on, tender and once again cooked perfect, if the fried were not hand cut they were the the best imitation thereof, sure the coleslaw was hand cut as well. The haddock cakes were good, the sides on the plate; great chutney..exceptional homemade beans and a most interesting salad...fresh albeit a bit light on the carrot ginger dressing...plus reasonably priced/great value. Would definitely return when in area!

Nice little local hotel. It's a little dated and worn-out, but it is clean with decent beds.

On a quiet evening, we had great service in a room with the feel of some history to it. The food was delicious and well-prepared, with a food menu along the lines of what you’d find at large franchised restaurants with some great additional seafood options. The fried clams were particularly good. Great local beer selection on tap. Typical children’s menu. Prices are typical for tourist-focused places on the South Shore. If you are looking for distinctly local cuisine or a unique culinary experience, this isn’t your place. If you want a nice meal, great seafood, and/or good beer, head on in.

The room was great and close to everything. Definitely old world charm with updated finishes. Within walking distance to centre of town. There was some confusion at check in that was a bit annoying, but everything else made up for it. We all have bad days.

We didn’t stay there but might next time. The restaurant was amazing! I absolutely loved the atmosphere, the waitress also told us the story of who’s house it was. The privateers portrait hangs in the wall. I love the history of the place and the friendliness of the staff. The seafood chowder was chocked full and one of the best in NS that I had! I love the pub/lounge look. If I lived there I would be there all the time!

The seafood linguine was phenomenal! Giant chunks of lobster claw and scallops! .. could use some more salt and lemon but otherwise, no complaints!
