It's been amazing working with Vanessa. She gave us so many good tips and helped us a lot with our 7 month-old rescue puppy. In just 4 training sessions and less than 2 months, we went from a very hyper and anxious dog, who was not listening a word and peeing everywhere, to a very sweet and caring (housetrained) dog, who can go hiking off leash, plays gently with our toddlers, who knows when to stay calm and that if we are working it means that he can have a nap. Vanessa always made sure to listen to our needs and customized the training sessions to our busy family life, which made things very easy for us. Can't recommend her services enough!

Vanessa has helped our 1 1/2 year old shepherd mix learn some behavioural manners in just 3 sessions. She provided some very good tips, and useful practice advice. I would highly recommend Vanessa for any dog training issues!

My 8-month old puppy Ripley and I participated in Vanessa's intro to agility training over the course of the summer and had such a fantastic time. It was wonderful working with Vanessa to help our rescue dog, Addy, manage his anxiety and reactivity on the leash. She came to our home for 3 private sessions and provided us with useful tips, games, homework, information, videos, and activities to help with Addy's anxiousness. She was able to gauge his behaviour in the comforts of our own home without the added pressure of a different environment or with other dogs around. I asked Vanessa to help me a few months ago (and again recently) with my dog, Sadie. About a year ago, my rescue dog of 18 years, Rainy, passed. It was a difficult time. After 10 months, I managed to find another rescue. Sadie is a sweet dog, but I found (as I became more frustrated) that I was not ready to handle a 1 year old puppy. I was a becoming overwhelmed by her energy. I contacted Vanessa, and she worked with me (and Sadie) for a few months.It seems funny to say, but Vanessa helped me realize that Sadie was a great dog and great for me. I learned that appreciating Sadie didn't mean that she was or would be a perfect dog. I learned to enjoy her, or more accurately, I learned through Vanessa to accept her and embrace her.I thought that Evolve Dog would help me fix Sadie, but Vanessa helped me see her and love her.

We had just added a 10 week old bordercollie/heeler pup to our family and had a whole bunch of questions regarding training dynamics for the breed. Vanessa was very knowledgable, efficient and professional in her approach to the training - especially considering we have members of the family with family physical limitations and customised training was needed. Currently our little guy is 5 months old and his early training with Vanessa has really paid off. Highly, highly recommend.

Vanessa is the absolute best! We started with Intro to Agility in the Park this past summer and recently did an in-home tailored consultation and both experiences were beyond wonderful.The Intro to Agility classes were so welcoming and fun for our whole family - Daisy, our very energetic pug puppy, had an absolute blast! We all (Daisy and us) learned so much and continue to use/ practice the activities we picked up in agility. We will definitely be signing up for more agility with Vanessa in the future.Our in-home tailored consultation was also incredibly helpful!
