Delmanor Prince Edward is a place that everyone can call home. Staff are always very welcoming and ready to assist residents, family and friends. Residents can keep busy with all the activities they offer. The dining room experience is superb. You know it’s a great home by all the positive energy and all the happy faces.

Delmanor Prince Edward is an exceptional retirement residence, distinguished by its genuinely kind, compassionate and caring staff. For the past two years, my 92-year-old mom and I have been treated like family. Sadly, mom passed away recently, and I am eternally grateful to Karen, Julie, Joven, Princess, Sherri, Isabell, Lori, Grace and the rest of the staff at Delmanor! They go above and beyond each day to brighten the lives of those in their care.

Our mom stayed in both the respite care and residence. The staff were consistently caring and ensured mom’s wellbeing. The facilities were always clean and the food was fresh and delicious. I would recommend Delmanor Prince Edward to anyone looking for a retirement residence. Well done Farrah, Jovan and the others who helped her throughout her stay.

I haven’t been at this or any other retirement home only to visit I remember visiting my granny in Soth Africa it made me so sad as everybody was crying when we left. Hopefully it doesn’t happen as much these days. Anyways here’s a poem visit and think about our place as your home. Although we are not as big as the dome. Your friends and family are welcome here we have a place for all your gear. There is a pleasant staff who look after everyone. It’s like s prize you’ve won. We await your smile and grace. We have tables adorned with lace. So don’t waste time. It doesn’t cost much better than a dime. So bring yourself to your new home best I of all. Give us a call

Beautiful retirement living home in an upscale neighbourhood. The food, amenities and service are all top notch. The team is great to work with and the residents are fabulous! It’s such a joy to take care of our residents everyday, engaging with them spiritually, socially and physically! So happy to be a part of the Prince Edward family!

I am very happy to be here at Delmanor. It is the best move I could have made.The residents are so friendly, and the staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. My suite is sunny and comfortable, and the meals are great. I enjoy the roof for my daily walk, and the back patio is beautiful.. I look forward to each day.Joan Harris

My mother in law is on her 2nd year. Amazing staff and service God bless them. The level of care is amazing here and they are Covid 19 free up to now . We also see the caring staff wearing mask to work. So yes 5 stars is not enough for this caring staff of Del manor Prince Edward . .

The Arts and Crafts Co-ordinator doesn't give much thought to the clientele Her idea is Dollarama crafts - junkie, disposable Stuff children would do.The food menu is the same for all Delmanors. These men and women were born in the war era It would be nice if they were served a proper Strawberry Shortcake. How about a High Tea on Mother's Day. Many times I would sit down in the dining room at a dirty tablecloth.Management appear to listen but in the end, it's just lip service.Does Delmanor really have our parents' interest and care? I hear complaints every time I visit by more than one resident.

I echo other comments posted about health care. This is not one of Del Manor’s strengths.I would add one up-to-date comment about recent medical staff. The previous house physician (at Del Manor Prince Edward) was mediocre at best (I’m a physician with 35 years of experience, so mine is an authoritative opinion). The current physician (2019/20) is knowledgeable and compassionate.Del Manor is a Tridel company. Real estate is Tridel’s business, not caregiving.Contrast that to places like Schlegel Villages or Sunrise. These are companies who provide senior care first, and rent apartments second.My mother lived at Del Manor Prince Edward for several years.Positives: It’s a beautiful facility. The food is excellent. My mother’s two-bedroom corner suite was bright and spacious, and the view over the Humber in one direction and toward downtown in the other was spectacular.Cons: Activities were minimal. Medical staff were disappointing.In other words, room and board were excellent, but that’s pretty much all you will get.If your health is good and you don’t need activities to keep you stimulated, this is a nice place to live. As your needs increase with advancing age, Del Manor is not the place to be.
