There actually is no bldg called this, 'Galiano South End Community Hall'. As the name placed on the front of the bldg states, it is simply the Galiano Community Hall'. Built in the late 1920's by the newly formed Galiano Club the bldg continues to be managed by this island social/recreational/cultural organization.organization."

For visitors to the island... There is a single J-1772 flo electric charger available out front for use by donation. For bikers, there's also a tire pump available. At the back of the lower parking lot is a kids playground, plus it's just a 1-3 minute walk to shops and restaurants, so there's plenty to occupy your time while charging up.

This community hall has been the heartbeat of Galiano since being built. Lots of memories in this hall. Still lots of activity in this Hall.

Galiano Community Hall
Probably the community's main hub; the South End Community Hall has things going on most days of the week. Things like lunches for seniors, local plays and performances, games and even a local Movie Night.Downstairs is a local Daycare facility and outside is a small playground.
