Great location with plenty of parking spaces and many Chinese related business in the same plaza.Quick order using my own smartphone. If you do not have data, there is free wifi provided.We do not have to wait and has a table available right after walking in. During our stay around 60% of tables are occupied.Food is fast, spicy and quite authentic. We love the dish of Bowl of Beef with tofu. Price is reasonable with plenty of food. Service is also good and well worth 20-25% tip.Only complaint is that the KongPao chicken is not very good or taste is adjusted too localized.

We came here on a weekend afternoon and there were tables available, so we were seated relatively fast. This is the first place that I have been with a temperature measuring machine at the front entrance. Food was delicious and spicy. We ordered the dry pot as well as a fish with preserved vegetables soup. They have a wide screen TV playing Asian music so it feels like a karaoke. Overall great experience and I will be back. Spicy Chinese food lovers unite here!Hotopia serves up contemporary modern Szechuan cuisine at multiple GTA locations. We came to dine at their Hwy 7 location before it got packed. We were not disappointed by the delicious spicy dishes:1) Marrying Four is an absolutely massive dish. Diverse meat offerings are mixed within a heaping mountain of red hot chili peppers. Pork rib, beef sirloin, lamb cube and sautéed shrimp harmonize pleasantly as well-seasoned, tender & fatty bites. Add lotus root for crunchiness. This dish is for those that enjoy hot flavours! A spicy kick is intensified by chili oil & pepper seeds on the tasty items.2) Beef in Chili Sauce is a traditional Szechuan dish comprising of tender beef slices & ox tripes. Mix in with the generous portion of chili oil, sesame seeds, crushed peanuts & cilantro. Despite its appearance, the dish is more aromatic rather than being as spicy or mouth-numbing.We had rice bowls on hand for these spicy flavours. Fun to try some unapologetically spicy food to excite the taste buds. Large portions, affordable menu, and plenty of leftovers after denting our dishes.

Maybe a 4.5 stars in my opinion - I’ve really enjoyed their Meat Lover Mala Pot, about $32 (cash) and a HUGE portion! I’ve been able to feast on this for 2 to 3 meals easily, so really great value.Nothing to complain about regarding their food and quality - good level of spicy!

Busy plaza always & it’s hard to find parking all the times, especially lunch & dinner hours, Good customer service. Staff was attentive & friendly. Food served hot and quick. Portion was very generous if you like spicy food this place is a must try! Loved their spicy & sour fish soup. Will visit again !

Spicy food and big portions. Can’t finish and take home to eat for another two days. Very good taste but mainly deep fried and oily. In the restaurant is smoky environment a bit feel like eating by the kitchen. Over all it has good value but more for family or close friends get together for eatery.

I’m Chinese and I love sichuan spicy food. But the food here (specifically sichuan pickle flavoured tilapia soup) was subpar. Especially the fish itself, it has a very bad taste to it that’s hard to describe but made me feel uncomfortable after eating. The taste was so bad that even after a couple of days I can still be reminded of it and want to throw up just thinking about it. Very disappointed especially given the price is on the higher end ($50 after tax and tips for the fish).

I used to love this restaurant at the North York location. But my experience today at Richmond Hill was horrendous. There were only 2 waiter/waitress serving the entire restaurant. Service was slow. The place is unsanitary. The waiter coughed and sneezed without wearing a mask. The garbage bin was right beside our table and the waitress swept the floor and clear the dust pan multiple times beside us. She cleaned the tables, cleared left over bones, picked up garbage from the floor, and served food without washing her hands.The restaurant ran out of steamed rice so customers had to wait a long time for the rice to be cooked. When the rice was finally served at the table next to us, the customer asked to cancel the order because they had already finished their food. The waiter took the bowl of rice and put it back to the rice cooker after it’s been served. I was totally shocked, would definitely not go back again.

We like the sichuan style spicy dish here, frog hotpot is a must try! Fish soup, chicken soup in a pot are also very good. Service is fast and friendly, cozy restaurant with a good relaxing atmosphere!
