The course was in very poor shape. Tee box stone was knocked over, big safety hazard. Clover all over the place, grass growing in the bunkers and the greens are bumpy, bare patches and groves, almost like the mower had a stick stuck in it and was dragged across the greens. Not worth the money!

I shot a wedding here and myself and my team loved shooting photography and videography here! The staff was super helpful and most importantly the wedding venues indoor and out were absolutely stunning! Loved it!

We had our wedding at the Lionhead over the summer and what an amazing experience ! From first contact with Kelly and then handed over to Sue I was blown away. We planned the wedding from BC and it was so easy thanks to Sue and the team, communication was always present and every detail and request was handled with extreme importance. They are true professionals and it showed on the wedding day, everything on their end was executed flawlessly. All of the staff was amazing! I felt like we were cared for as extreme VIP’s Summit the catering manager even came to check on us personally(the food is absolutely 10/10 we were stuffed) and Sue was always close by making sure everything was handled perfectly. It was a better venue than we ever could have imagined and the room was so dreamy; there were so many great photo locations!! Have your wedding here you won’t regret it

We did decor setup in their Aberdeen Room, beautiful view, enough parking space and cooperative staff! Definitely check them out.

Started at 7am on a Saturday, was having alot of fun right up until the back 9 where to our and many groups behind us surprise they put an entire tournament ahead of us… significantly slowed down play and when I called the pro shop they said we were ahead of schedule. However, they should realize that most earlier tee times would naturally gravitate ahead of pace. At one point there was 24 people on hole 12 and regardless of being ahead of pace this should not happen.. I hope they rectify it .

Outstanding course for a tournament. The clubhouse faculties were well run and well equipped to handle the volume of golfers. Great greens and fairways.

I wish I could leave a review for the golf course alone, because the facilities were great and staff were very friendly. As a student of golf course architecture however, this is one of the worst examples of design I have ever seen (Legends Course). The course boasts the hardest rating in Canada, but for all of the wrong reasons. You’re basically playing leapfrog on a golf course, and it requires players of all different skill levels to hit the same shots, with no room for options or creativity. Having to hit 3 irons off of 2 of the par 5’s is…interesting. Whether you’re a low or high handicapper, there are more enjoyable golf courses in the area that will appropriately test your game than this one.

The place is really nice, perfect for a wedding, the equipments are updated, the hall is really nice but the temperature of the place was warm, not sure if the AC was not working or if that’s their lowest, all the guests were felling hot. Other then that not a bad place, I would recommend this place.

Avoid this course. Fairways and tee boxes are in brutal condition. Greens are on another level of bad. Completely dead and covered in bumps. Everything was rock hard. No ball washing machines or yardage markers anywhere on the course. Fringes covered in anthills. The price they charge here is a bit of a scam, as they clearly don't care about the condition of the course. Will definitely not be coming back and would recommend others to avoid. Any course in the GTA at this price range is going to be a better option, and the Toronto and Mississauga city courses are in significantly better shape for 1/2 the cost.

Horrible. Lionhead is now officially off my roster of golf courses. This place has gone down hill since Iggy left us. Do yourself a favour and pay an extra $20 with an extra 30 mins drive will save you from playing this miserable, abysmal course.Recently teed off at 7am over the weekend. Rather than write an essay, here is a list of my grievances:1. Empty beer cans found in the cooler of my cart. Its obvious these carts aren’t cleaned the night before nor inspected for quality and usability.2. Recently paved cart path poorly marked. You have to know your way around with confusion markers inevitably holding up groups behind you.3. Why the f#%! did they pave cart paths right in-front of some greens!?!? Stupid.4. Course is in absolute horrendous condition, poorly kept fairways, greens are full of sand with pits and dead-spots. Praying for a true roll.5. Green fee with cart on weekends is just under $150 CAD. Total ripoff and the owners/managers should be ashamed of asking this from unsuspecting golfers.6. Tournament heavy, every fairway, apron, green and rough is HACKED UP. Good luck playing from a nice lie anywhere. The list goes on, AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!It’s 4* review is inaccurate but you can confirm for yourself.Consider yourself warned.
