been a couple times - not very busy so BRING YOUR OWN GROUP or come when you know it's busy! you get some good comedians coming out here, I've had a good time, but food and drinks are very pricey

Really enjoyed the show. Went with my husband, son and daughter. Comedians showed real talent and there was lots of laughs. Will go again for sure. Need to help the bar staff maybe. She seemed....quite stressed and overrun. But managed.

Always have a great time here. Love that fact that this little club is an Edmonton gem and a great place to see new and emerging local talent as well as headliners from around the globe. The audience and comics are diverse and accepting and there tends to be a little bit for everyone from 16 to 160. Shows change weekly and there is almost always someone new to see. With all that said the Comedy Factory is providing the entertainment, Gateway is providing the food and drinks. Their service tends to be a little slow and not consistent I would recommend ordering drinks a couple at a time. Laughing that hard is thirsty business!

They did not honor my Groupon ticket saying I needed to make reservations. So I gave $80 for 3 of us and had to wait 30 minutes for change. It was $63.50 with gst. The place was full not packed. Waited 20 minutes in line for drinks and food only to find out most ppl had free tickets?? On the flip side the show was great. Improv night. The comedians were hilarious. The end was odd as the host never came back. Even the comedians were confused about that.

We went to see Chris Heward, paid 40 bucks for 2 of us, and seen 2 openers. Main guy didn't show up. Openers were decent.

What the owner has strived to do over the years, evolving this space from a intimate dark black room, to what it is today, growing with the comedy scene, is what stand up truly is….ever evolving. The roar, the height of ceiling, the draw of comedians, the greeting and feel as You arrive, it’s iconic for comedy in Edmonton, if you’re looking for a night you’ll remember and ribs and stomach hurt the next day, from breathless laughs. There’s nothing that compares for comedy in Edmonton

The jokes on Bob! Such bad service. I booked a comedy night for 10 people and it got cancelled 2 hours before we got there with zero effort from Bob or his staff to contact me and inform me of this last minute change. The staff at the Gateway were unprofessional and provided zero accommodations for us, blaming Bob for the mess and Bob blamed them in return. Disgraceful! It’s a shame that this first experience for a comedy night was so disappointing. Not going to waste my time trying this venue again.

Just went there for the first time. Really funny local comedians, the headliner (Hannibal Thompson) was hilarious, and had an hour-long set all about Edmonton. Bob the MC was a great host.Good venue, affordable drinks, great night out.

Had a fantastic time. The lineup had changed because of everything going on these days. They did a great job to make for a wonderful evening for my daughter's 18th birthday. Definitely would go again. Thanks for the great night

This was the second time our family had been to the Comedy Factory. The first time the comedy was good, but we experienced poor service. However, we didn't go for the service we went for the humour and it was good enough to cause us to go back a second time. The second time one comic was funny but the first one was so bad that people at our table felt genuinely sorry for him. To top it off the level of service didn't get any better. I would not recommend this venue to anyone! There are much better locations in the city with far better performers. Don't waste your time. Two stars for the first time out, but they completely didn't try to earn the other three stars in my opinion.
