Had a wonderful experience with Courtney for my haircut! The entire staff is welcoming and professional and works hard to ensure their customers leave happy.

I have had the pleasure of coming here twice in the last month, and both times were made special by the staff's attention to detail. My first experience was with Courtney as a model for highlights/root tap/trim, and then with John for the most precise haircut of my life. Each stylist goes through an intensive vetting and training process to ensure everyone at the salon is at the top of their class. Even when a stylist has been cutting hair for a decade at a top tier salon, they still undergo training by owner, Tim! Knowing that the owners, Tim & Loretta (she oversees colouring) pride themselves on having well trained staff makes me feel like I could recommend anyone to any of the stylists here.

Wayne is not only a master cutter and colorist, but a true artist. For my initial appointment, he took the time to get to know me and my long lifeless hair. He quickly came up with suggestions and we agreed to take a few inches off, add a few well placed layers and color my hair. My hair feels so healthy, has volume and style that lasts forever. Many thanks to Wayne for bringing out the best in my hair and making me feel beautiful! “ A client for life.”

Tanis is a wizard. I’ve never dyed my hair before and love my natural hair colour but wanted some oomf. She gave me exactly that and exceeded my expectation. Such a lovely salon too and all the staff are amazing.

I had a great experience at Salon Haze and am so glad that I decided to go after reading some positive reviews online. I have wavy, slightly frizzy hair and for some reason, I rarely get a haircut that works with it. I called the salon and spoke to a really friendly and helpful woman on the phone, explained my situation, and she suggested that John would be a good fit for my anxiety around haircuts. She was absolutely right -- he was understanding of my concerns and carefully explained what was going on with my hair, then took me through the steps of how he was going to cut it and why he was making certain choices. All the while, he was receptive to questions and feedback, which was very reassuring.I am so, so thrilled with the result! It is exactly what I was hoping for and I'm relieved that I don't have to struggle with it everyday. I absolutely recommend Salon Haze -- John is extremely talented and very thoughtful about his work and I really enjoyed my experience there.

Would not recommend. Went in for a consult ready to spend whatever it’d take to get to, or close to, what I wanted. The stylist sat me down and picked at my hair, commenting over and over about how patchy it was and that she wasn’t sure it’d be possible to achieve what I wanted (brunette to copper). I consented to her cutting a piece of my hair to do a test strand. And.. was never contacted again. A waste of time and the kind of experience that just makes you feel bad, from all the judgy comments she made about my hair- definitely not what I look for when going to a salon.

My hair stylist is Wayne . He was incredibly friendly, professional, and most importantly did a really amazing job! He really understood my hair type and cut/styled accordingly. This is the best experience I've had at a salon and I would not hesitate to return :)

I’ve been to Loretta and Meiko. Both have been excellent colourists! I have THICK hair. It takes upwards of 5 hours to balayage, but they are troopers and make sure it’s a comfortable experience.

First time with Haze today. I went in to the experience in need of direction with men’s cuts. Jon provided a very professional experience, he described his thought process on what he would like to do with my hair, and explained everything as he did so. I’m very very very happy with Salon Haze and will be a life long client of Jons moving forward. Thanks a million!
