Only been twice, mid afternoon, and got excellent fast service, delicious food and a check by staff that all was well (which many servers don't do anymore but is so important!), and interesting art on the walls. Best eggs Benedict I've ever had (Sat. and Sun. brunch 11 til 3).

Today my son and I went to Mr. Mikes in Olds. Our server in the lounge was Kelly and what a fantastic server she was! My son has autism, hes 18 and sometimes his mannerisms come off aloof or rude. She engaged amazingly with him! My heart was warmed! Check out the lounge at Mr. Mikes service was absolutely amazing! Thank you Kelly and staff you rock!!

Decent place to go if you plan to eat in. But expect a bit of a $$$ menu. Now for the reason I am giving a 2 star rating. It's bad enough that this place is mildly overpriced. But the take out i recieved was absolutely terrible especially for the price paid.I ordered 2 meals one of them didn't come with the right side the other came with a losely sealed sauce that spilled over the entire meal. Here's the kicker. When i called to discuss this failure. I was given someone who claimed to be a Manager on duty" that assured me my complaints were understood

About a week ago we had a bad experience with Mr. Mikes and I left a low review. I was contacted by the manager and he apologized and offered us a free meal. Which was good and the service was very good(felt a little like they were kissing up because they knew we had an issue last time). Although the same problem I had with a large piece of fat being left on my chicken occurred (I now realize I didn't get a good picture but you can slightly see it behind the shrimp bowl)but my fiancé‘s chicken didn’t have any extra fat. I’m guessing it might just be some pieces of chicken that they have, have pieces of fat and they’re just not very good at catching them. I ordered the Smugglers chicken like I did the last time and it was good. I asked for extra sauce Because the last time I ordered it the rice was really dry. I definitely got extra sauce but it was just melted Cajun butter so it was fairly oily. The prawns were also quite rubbery, I cant imagine what the scallops are like, I don't like scallops so I asked to not have them. The tomato bruschetta appetizer I got was really good, though it could’ve done without so many tomatoes. They were piled fairly high and there was no way to eat it without making a mess.. My fiancé got the grilled chicken and he said it was a bit charred for his liking(same issue as last time just better). Plating also could've been better. The fries were just thrown on the plate on top of the chicken and vegetables, and the tomato bruschetta just looks messy. Overall it was good and seems to be up to a casual standard. Not a fine dining steakhouse by any means.

For the most part the food was good. The steak dinner that said it came with onion rings, literally came with two onion rings, so that didn't go over well! Also the server never asked the girls what sides they wanted, so they ended up with salads they didn't want, but the rest of us enjoyed our meals and the service was decent. Our son especially enjoys the ribs!

Olds, AB is our local Mr Mikes we much prefer this location to some others as we have always had great service and excellent food.The owners and management takes time to come by and get to know the people in the restaurant and very often can be seen helping serve or with tidying up if it’s busier than usual!Really like the team here

If you're in the mood for a delicious steak and a great atmosphere, look no further than this Mikes. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly.The menu boasts a wide variety of options, my favourite starter is the lodge chips, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the steak. I ordered mine medium rare and it was cooked to perfection, juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The sides were just as impressive. I particularly enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes and the sautéed mushrooms.The service was impeccable throughout my meal. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and my water glass was always full. I also appreciated that they took the time to explain the different cuts of steak and offer their recommendations.I've been to this restaurant for both casual dinners with friends and work lunches, and it's always been a great experience. The ambiance is welcoming and comfortable, with just the right amount of buzz in the air. It's a great place to grab some food or hang out with some friends, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

I am not easy to impress. I am impressed. We were a party of seven celebrating an anniversary. First time at a Mr Mikes. Service was friendly, attentive, efficient and accurate. The Skookumchuk Chicken Burger had been recommended to us and six of us chose that item. Choice of sides were offered. Two of us had the Caesar salad—very nice. The rest had fries—generous portions and tasty. The chicken burgers did not disappoint. If anything, they exceeded expectations. We also chose a couple of appetizers—sirloin tips (nothing special) and Spinach Dip (fantastic). The Antler Ale had also been recommended and was excellent. The girls enjoyed the white wine sangria. I will be looking forward to returning I got to sample more of the menu. I know this is a chain, and I don’t know what other locations are like but if they are managed like this one we will be regulars! It’s unpretentious dining with a relaxed and fun community vibe. Well done!
