I am incredibly happy with my new Escape 5.0. The experience of buying and working with the staff was fantastic. They were always available to answer questions and always took the time to make sure I was happy with my build decisions. I had the camper delivered 3,000 miles to Springfield MA in the middle of this passed winter. It arrived with no problems except one captains light popped loose. Not bad for such a long journey. Easy fix! We took it out on our first trip after spending a month learning everything in our driveway. we love it. we are happy with all of our options and wouldn't change a thing. It was well worth the year plus wait.

We picked up our new Escape 19 at the end of October in Washington State. We had traveled from Pittsburgh PA, so we did not have the opportunity to execute a weekend shakedown trip.Instead, we proceeded to travel from Washington to LA, then East through Arizona, NM, and Texas to Florida. We returned to Pittsburgh in time for Christmas. In all we drove 9350 miles while towing for over 6000 miles. Our tow vehicle is a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. I understand why many would prefer a 1/2 ton, but our Ridgeline performed just fine. I did not use any additional weight distribution or anti-sway equipment. We averaged between 13.5 and 15 MPG while towing. We fell in love with our Escape 19 and found it met our needs wonderfully. For instance, we had anticipated using the campground facilities more than our small, wet-bath, but quicky changed our minds. When it was dark and wet, it was nice to have a clean warm bath inside. We even used the shower regularly and found it to function very well.We now anticipate doing most of our camping within a 300 mile radius of Pittsburgh, but I would not hesitate to set out on another long trip. We would just stay longer and see fewer sights.

I see that a lot of the reviews are from relatively new owners so I thought that I'd add a review from a longer term owner.Bought new, our 2014 19 took us far and wide, Alaska to Baja and the Pacific to the Atlantic. Our 2019 21C continues to do so. The map on our rear tongue box sums it up.The trailers have done very well including some roads in Baja that were a little on the brutal side. Nothing that ETI constructed has ever been a problem. Greatest problem was the temperamental fridge in the 19, but that's now ancient history. The fridge in the 21C is dream. Ice cream to Baja and back. The 21C meets all our needs and we anticipate it will continue to do well into the future.Favorite place: Coyote Beach, Baja

We picked up our Escape 17B in Sumas Washington on October 6, 2022 and drove it back to Florida. We are so pleased with the quality and option selection of the Escape trailer. The customer service has been outstanding so far!

We recently purchased a 2023 Escape 21C to replace our 2009 Escape 17. We loved the design, engineering, and quality of our first Escape. Unfortunately, we've had quality issues with our new trailer. The furnace quit working the first night camping, which was the day we picked up our new trailer. The furnace then worked fine for a while, but then quit working again on our next camping trip. We've has multiple problems with our new trailer, which is only one month old. I've replaced multiple cabinet door latches that don't latch, and screws that were over-torqued and just fell out. Also, the latch on our exterior storage compartment bent severely while driving on the interstate. The photos speak for themselves. We're hoping we don't continue to have more problems.

Escape Trailers are a great company to work with from first contact to selecting all the options, ordering through the build process, picking up at the factory and supporting with aftercare. Everyone we dealt with at the factory was very knowledgeable and had customer-friendly suggestions throughout. This is not a stock trailer it is a customized fibreglass trailer uniquely made to our personal needs and preferences. The final product has exceeded our expectations with only a couple minor hiccups that Escape dealt with right away.Customer service and support is excellent and online tools and videos are helpful and continually updated. These trailers have a very strong community and lifestyle that supports them beyond the company too and they retain their value longterm. The wait list is worth it! Check them out!

We recently picked up our second, larger Escape trailer, a 21C. There is much discussion in the camping community about quality, cost and wait times. We are totally happy with our new Escape and the company was always helpful and responsive at each stage. Took about 10-11 months from the first deposit to receiving it. Very satisfied with the inside, the outside and towing performance. It weighs in at 4075lb with our camping gear (we tried to make lighter weight choices in our build), so we didn’t have to upgrade the tow vehicle, a big relief. Quality is exactly as good as it was in our pre-pandemic Escape. Personalization options make it to your own taste. Also we sold our smaller Escape for slightly more than we paid for it, so moving up to the new one only cost us the difference.

We picked up our new 17b trailer in mid June. Every part of the design, build and pick up process went smoothly. The staff at Escape were very helpful at every turn. Our camper is well built and everything works as designed. Looking forward to many adventures in our new Escape.

I did a great deal of research on fiberglass trailers and Escape rose to the top of my list.We ordered our Escape 19 with an initial projected possession date of March 2023, that date continually got moved up and we picked it up in June 2022 @ the Sumas border crossing. We tentatively had a 3 week trip planned for July 2022, which we are in the middle of currently, that has taken us from WA to PA. So far, we could not be happier with our Escape 19. We ordered a very basic model but even so, lots of customization options. It tows well behind our 2020 Nissan Frontier, It is easy to set up and the quality is top notch. All the staff we worked with was helpful and I would recommend an Escape to anyone.

We got our new 21C in September of 2021. From the first day the water pump and the heater did not work and there was a big water leak under the bed. Fortunately my husband is handy and fixed the leak. We had to get new parts for the heater and water pump. At least they were covered by the warranty. Then on the trip back home to Oregon the burners on the stove separated from the gas pipes. Also the faucet leaked as we were driving down the road. And the floor from sink to heater has a pronounced raised ridge under the linoleum that I was told was a glued seam in the plywood underflooring. The 7 pin terminal on the trailer frame had not been covered and it was several months before my husband was under that part of the trailer so it had started to rust before he found out. We had a Casita for 10 years with minimal problems so expected the Escape to be even better built. It has not been so. We have now had it 1 1/2 years and the entry steps just had a major broken weld on one side we had to get fixed. We are of average weight so it should never have been an issue. We were told it was out of warranty. So though the inside is comfortable and roomy I keep waiting to see what else was poorly done or will fall apart next.
