Had a girls day with my sister and mom. We each got posh pedicures. Staff was very friendly, and the environment was very relaxing. As far as I could tell, fresh, sanitized tools were used on each new client, and the place was also very clean. They also offered a various arrangement of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, and even wine and a meat/cheese platter for purchase.One thing is that we were told we shouldn't wear closed shoes for 2 hours after, and we weren't told to bring our own flip flops: maybe something to consider mentioning when someone is making an appointment. we were given disposable foam flip flops, but they lasted all of 5 minutes before breaking (they're not meant to be worn outside). It made for some laughs though, and gave us an excuse to buy some summer shoes a little early in the season. But besides that, we really enjoyed the manicure and are very happy with the finished result. definitely worth paying a little extra to go here vs a place at the mall!

I enjoyed the steam room, manicure, pedicure, facial, and full body wrap. Those things were done with a 5 star rating!! They were done very well with amazing, top of the line products. The spa has a very luxurious feel to it.The full body scrub was not very enjoyable (the shower head was not working); therefore, I ended up rinsing off the body scrub in the shower room (which is fine, but the price for the body scrub was paid. So, a lot of money was spent to have a shower there and rinse off gritty soap). It would have been nice to get a reimbursement or even a discount, but none was given. I probably would not be complaining about this had I not found out the price that my husband had paid to give me a day at the spa. But, as I was checking out, she charged me not just for some products that I wanted to buy, but also for all of the treatments that I had received. The girl was newer and figuring out the system. Long story short, she found the info she needed, and we did not have to pay twice.I also did not enjoy the hot rock massage. The person who had done my hot rock massage did not know what she was doing, but she was very good at the other stuff like the manicure, pedicure, facial, and full body wrap.So, I definitely suggest this place, but ask for a discount or different treatment if something is not working like the shower head. They probably would have given me one had I asked. It also might be a good idea to make sure that the person doing your hot rock massage is certified in massage therapy.It is a great place to go to relax without having to drive all the way into Winnipeg!

My husband came here for a facial that I asked him to get. While there was a mishap, they handled it well beyond my expectations and that to me says so much about a business! Will definitely be back.

Was in town for the weekend so did my research and booked my daughter and myself in for manicures at Avalon. It was excellent! The staff are friendly, kind, and knowledgeable of their practices and the city. The salon atmosphere is professional, clean and relaxing. My daughter kept exclaiming how it was the fanciest place she’d ever been to! We will be back!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Small quiet lounge appointed with assorted teas and cold drink options. You have to remove your shoes in the foyer, you may want to take sandals or slippers as none were offered. I had booked a wrap, it was relaxing and thorough. We booked a week in advance and were both able to get our preferred service.

Amazing experience, highly recommend! I do wish their pedicure stations were a bit more comfortable, but otherwise loved the entire experience!

Had a signature facial, my skin is glowing! The staff is professional, friendly and the spa is gorgeous! Worth every penny. Can't wait to go back!

Definitely one of the best experiences.My nails came out perfect. My feet came out moisturized. Everything was so sanitary and clean. And the girl who did my pedicure was great! 10/ 10 recommend
