There are many stressful things about moving to a new city, not the least of which is having to find a new hairstylist!But my apprehension and worries were quickly assuaged after speaking with Chopstix's very understanding salon coordinator, Shayna. She went above and beyond to make me feel heard and to pair me with a hairstylist who matched my needs.And Cindy did not disappoint! She took the time to find out about me and my hair, what I wanted, what would work best for me and explained exactly what she was going to do.From start to finish, it was a very pleasant experience and I love my new hairstyle. Truly awful experience. I called to have my grown out and bleached blonde hair dyed a two tone ash mushroom brown and ashy blonde. When I called the desk clerk told me that they are used to eccentric styles and get all kinds of people, putting me at ease. This was not the situation at all! I was not shown color swatches and despite stressing over a dozen times that I did not want dark hair, they dyed my hair black. The side panels are grossly uneven (something the stylist apologized for messing up) which was the main reason I went to have this professionally done in the first place. I got hair dye flung into my eye (extremely painful) and was never consulted about how long this would take or the cost,When I called the following day, somethinh I was told to do if there were any isdues.. The desk clerk was EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE. I called feeling just a bit unhappy and wondering if there was a way to lighten my hair or fix it, the desk girl went right into insulting me and telling me it was my fault my hair was messed up and to go fix it *elsewhere*. This is the person that represents this business. I went from being a bit sad to being outright LIVID. She told me that I had been shown swatches (I had not) and told me that I had told her that I wanted my hair dyed to match the grown out dark hair (again, I had not and this was a miscommunication) . I still cannot believe how rude and condescending this girl is to customers. That alone, says A LOT about this business. I am sure this is a great place if you think Olive Garden is a fancy restaurant and buy your clothes at Costco.

Carmen did my hair and I love it, she does a great job and it is very apparent that she loves what she does.Went in to see Janice for a facial and skin tightening, amazing.Nice salon with talented and friendly staff.

Very competent and pleasant stylist. Nice atmosphere. Bit expensive in my experience but probably same in other salons. Would have liked to see a price list.

Great first visit with Susan! She listened to what I was hoping to achieve, talked it through re styling and maintainence and did a fantastic job of making it happen!Comfortable surroundings, good product choice, saw the Stylists assist many different ages, both men and women.I'll definitely be back and highly recommended Chopstix!
