Fair prices, knowledgeable staff. Asked for advice on buying a gift for younger family members that are new to collecting Pokemon cards, gave good advice and choices to think about without pressuring us to buy anything. Came back to purchase a few days later!

My kids recently took up the hobby of collecting basketball cards and other memorabilia. We came across Maximum cards and collectibles, which was close to home. We met James, who was extremely knowledgable, and provided valuable information and insight into the world of purchasing and trading cards. He was extremely friendly and took the time to go through many key elements in this new found hobby although the store was quite busy. It was a great experience, for not only our kids but us as parents who have never navigated the world of trading cards. We were able to learn a lot and purchased some great cards. Huge inventory, great staff, highly recommended. We will definitely be going back.

Great store - James was very helpful and accommodating. When he found out my little guy was a fan of a New York Islander, he gave him a free autographed card to start his collection. Great spot… great selection… we will be back… many times.

Honestly, Maximum C&C is pound for pound, the best sports card collectors shop in Durham Region and I would even stand them up next to top card shops in the GTA as well. What you’re going to get here first is honesty and integrity. From the moment I first walked in, I knew something felt different in this store as they always make it a point of acknowledging each and every person that walks thru their door, and there is NEVER any pressure to buy anything. Their prices are also the best, in fact I don’t even bother stopping by Dollys or Wads anymore, for price comparisons, there’s no point so save your time as these guys will be better priced. Lastly, the old school passion of ownership has definitely made its mark by duplicating that feel in store as well. These guys are going to be around for a long time, they have my loyal business for life.

Drove out from Toronto to visit this shop. Quality show cases. Nice owners and very reasonable prices. Many autos. Nice hockey, some basketball. Some slabs and raw and of course some wax. Solid experience. Could spend an hour here. Will return soon.

One of the best hobby stores in Durham Region. Jeff & James are very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this store to everyone from Beginners to Experts!
