terrible customer service, extremely unorganized and unprofessional. Claim rentals are first come first serve however, they do not allow lines and will just randomly pick who gets boat. Overall terrible experience would NOT recommend. Must find a better system as this is ridiculous!

It's very helpful having this place to rent canoes and kayaks when you don't have them and want to have some fun in the lake.

Me and my wife came to have a ride in their canoe and they claim they serve persons on a first place basis and we were there waiting and the decided to give our canoe to some else who came after us. It's so ridiculous and another of other persons were frustrated with their services

Got the last canoe rental for the time being around 1pm on a Saturday. Amazing views from two lookout points along their recommended path. Equipment was in good condition and staff were helpful.

Tried to enjoy their website advertised tandem canoe for 2 adults and 2 kids but they wouldn’t allow this so had to rent a bicycle instead that allows this. False advertising. If that is the case they should give 2 regular canoes for the same price.

They were quite busy when we went in the afternoon around 1pm and had to wait for about 45 mins therefore the 4 stars. 1hr kayaking was more than enough time to wear me out. The tadem kayak and canoes are of a longer wait time than the singles. The worker there told us there is another boat rental on the island which we didnt know about and might be worth checking out if too many people here.

The staff are so extremely rude it's almost unbelievable. Too bad this is the only place to rent a canoe on the island.

I gotta lose weight so that the life-vests would fit better. We rented kayaks and went out on Ontario. It was terrific and they took care of us quickly. We should have bought two hours and taken a more leisurely pace. The paddles are just OK. This is just everyday equipment that will take a beating. It was fun.

As I am writing this review, I am sitting outside The Boat House. What was supposed to be the highlight of my trip to the Toronto Islands, turned out to be the complete opposite. As I have never been kayaking previously, I was very much looking forward to this weekend. I called all day (the number provided on their website) with no answer. I saw no one at The Boat House, and myself among others showed up to the site with no one in sight. There was no indication that the site was closed for the day. Anyways, it saddens me to write a negative review for any company but after this experience, I had to share my story.

Rented a kayak in the summer for an hour. Enjoyed the experience of kayaking along the skyline on a beautiful sunny day.
