When they arrested me at the hospital this morning for not having a ride and being a out patient. They were firm the first officer told me to leave behaved very badly but when 4 more police came things got better and I was treated with respect.

Car blocked my driveway as I was going out. Police came and told me its a renovation company and they will move the car in AN HOUR!! And he refused to give them a ticket told me just to drive around it on a large curb, what a joke

Today,I have to say I am overly impressed with the Windsor Police. The officer Djurovic, Dejan at Windsor police headquarters helped handle a situation of cheating, verbal abuse and injustice I got myself into. He is professional, unbiased, had empathy and regarded me as a person not just a case. Situation was also handled swiftly.Despite all I have heard about how I might not be getting any help from the Police, today I know that is False.This is my first time in any police station in Canada, it was a pleasant one. You made my week Dejan, you also changed my opinion of the Police.You are a Hero Djurovic,Dejan.Thank you for all you do.

Got arrested for not carrying my drivers license, treated me very well. Cells are spacious and clean.food was okay but an apple third time is a bit boaring. Handcuff was a bit corroded but it’s okay it does the job right the officers were friendly overall it was a nice experience.

Waste of time calling. Called 911 to report a driver that tried to ram me off the side of the ambassador bridge. Hopefully expecting they would have an officer at the bottom waiting to help deal with the issue. In reality? NOPE! now I have to do their job for them and get all the information I need to file a report. Lesson kids: don’t call 911 they won’t accomplish anything and make an excuse as to why they did so.

Arrived at my business this morning, before 7:15 a.m. Called non-emergency number, due to a homeless person sleeping, blocking my entrance. Informed dispatch that I had to open by 7:30 a.m., for my early morning client. After asking for my name, address, and covid screening questions, said someone was on their way. While waiting, saw 2 cruisers travelling south on Goyeau past where I was, no lights, sirens, within speed limit. My client had arrived, was waiting, it was now 7:50 a.m., and still no officers on sight. I had to resort to self help ( which the civilian population are told not to attempt, because of possible violence, mental health issues). I had no choice to do this, as I have a business to run, and customers who also have to be at THEIR jobs on time. Thank God it wasn't a true emergency.

I am a Night Security Guard in a Motor Vehicle Storage Facility. One evening I had to go after someone who got in one of the vehicles and tried to take off. I got the suspect out of the Vehicle. The WPS showed up very quickly and placed the Suspect in Custody. Without them we could not do our Job.

I almost lost of hope for Windsor Police Departmen when i was in Canada and got case for international child abduction because the first officer and 2nd officer i met they didn't help me much and felt like they just didn't care but since Sergeant Bleyendaal and his team came to my shelter in Hiatus house and took care of detail case i felt like there was a hope and ya they did excellent for interogated all of us and made full report for what happened that i can use it in my court. I couldn't imagine if i didn't meet them may be i'll lost my son bu now we are safe arrived in our country. I had a car accident and made a noise complaint through last a few months. It took 4hours for the officers to came to my car accident location and I didn’t see the officer show up at the noise location after I fall in sleep. The operator explained “they are dealing with the emergency” for the both situation. This sounds like an excuses for the police for not doing their job. Obviously, ask police for help in Canada is not a efficient way.

Very disappointed in the way I was pulled over the lack there of human reaction between officer and driver. Yes I made a mistake yet the officer didn’t have to treat my passenger and I like we were less than. There was no good morning or small talk. Thank you for your service and dedication though have a good day
