JC's Hot Bagels

Finally went to check out JC’s bagels. There is a good amount of tables to eat from and it was fairly busy on a Sunday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ordered a ham sandwich bagel. The cream cheese is delicious and so many toppings to pick from. I thought the bagel was a bit hard and made the sandwich difficult to eat but will go back to try another sandwich. The coffee and butter tart were great.

While everybody I raving about the breakfast bagel, we ordered 6 different bagels and I have to say, it was good, not great. We all prefer the What a bagel in Toronto where the bagel is fluffy with a crunchy crust and the egg salad and tuna salad is to die for. JC cannot match that. but it was good and we will go back to try another one. I would give it actually a 3.5 stars

I love this bagel shop! I'm new to the area and my very Genuine Realtor Rochelle recommended I check it out as apparently she's been coming here since she was a young kid... you have to be good to be around for so many years and they didn't disappoint.Thank you for the amazing breakfast bagel. I'll be back many times!

I recently visited for the first time JC's Hot Bagels, Burlington hidden gem, and I can confidently say that it was an exceptional experience. I was supper impressed by the freshness and taste of the ingredients were outstanding. We had everything bagels with salmon and turkey, also jalapeno bagels with roast beef. Each bite of their bagels was bursting with flavor, and the toppings were undeniably fresh. It's evident that JC's Hot Bagels takes great pride in using high-quality ingredients to craft their delicious offerings.What truly made my visit special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the family running the business and welcoming staff. Despite the bustling crowd on Canada Day, they managed to provide efficient and friendly service, ensuring that every customer was promptly attended to.I must also mention that the bagels themselves were truly outstanding. The perfect balance of chewiness and softness, along with the golden crust, made each bite a delight. JC’s Hot Bagels is a solid bagel joint. For many Burlingtonians, this is the “go-to” place.In my experience, their best offerings are the breakfast sandwiches. A decade ago, there was a peroid where I was having a Bacon and Egg sandwich nearly every weekend.Unfortunately, I was left unimpressed with their Chicken Salad sandwich during my most recent experience with JC’s Hot Bagels. The business skimped on the chicken salad part of the sandwich. The chicken salad was placed as a single scoop in the centre of the bagel sandwich. After the centre had been eaten, eating the rest of the bagel was a dull affair.Now, of course, some might say it is in poor taste to rate a restaurant based on a single sandwich; however, I would counter that these types of poor experiences may result in a loss of customer returns. Any one factor that could create a loss in return visits is significant for a restaurant.As for other factors, I found the ordering experience to be a mess. While I was in JC’s Hot Bagels, every person (including myself) had no idea where to begin the ordering process. To say the least, there was a shamble of lost bodies wandering between the cash register and where the ordering process, I was informed, was meant to begin. The ordering process needs to be made clearer to patrons.To note, the above experience took place in October of 2022, and has stopped me from returning.Overall, this was a 3/5 experience, however because JC Bagels' breakfast sandwiches are worth trying at least once, I would consider JC's a 3.5/5.

SO GOOD! Had a bacon & egg on a cheddar & herbs bagel. They’re huge, and just delicious. Nice little sitting area outside as the inside is pretty busy

We ordered bagel sandwiches today and they were great! First time ordering from them and for sure it won’t be the last.The Western sandwich was filling! We got it on an everything bagel which was to my opinion, very good! Tasty!We also got Turkey sandwich which was delicious with fresh veggies and flavorful .

I was so impressed by this place I had to take a second to write a review. My boyfriend and I were in town from Houston, TX visiting Toronto. We rented a car to drive from Toronto to Niagara Falls and we ended up stopping at this bagel spot along the way. Not only was the tastiest bagel I’ve ever had, but we also met with excellent customer service. We were asked by three different people if we’ve been helped, and the owner himself came from around the counter to ask us if we needed anything. If you’re ever in the area or just passing through town, I highly suggest you stop by for a delicious bagel!

I always catch myself coming back to this spot for a good breakfast bagel! We got the bacon and egg with a plain bagel and the salmon with an everything bagel. Everything is made fresh in front of you. You can buy store made cream cheese, bagels by the dozen and coffee!
