We had the most wonderful experience with the Julia Joy Beauty Co. team for our mountain elopement at Emerald Lake Lodge. From the initial contact to our wedding day, everyone was a wonderful to work with. Nadine answered all my questions and made sure that everything ran smoothly and our hair and make-up artist, Candice D., did a phenomenal job and made our experience a very pleasant one. Candice was lovely to chat with, made my partner and I feel very comfortable, and made us look and feel our best on our wedding day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this team! Thank you! We are very pleased with our hair and makeup! Jax worked on my three bridesmaids and she did really well enhancing their natural beauty. We had our photoshoot in Lake Minewanka and we got rained on but the bridesmaids makeup were waterproof and didn’t smudge. Stephanie worked on my hair, and on my MIL and SIL, and she did a fabulous job! She’s able to cover my bald spots lol and make my hair look fuller! However, I got drenched from the rain so my curls didn’t hold to long but it still look good for the ceremony. Stephanie and Jax are very professional and easy to work with. They listened to what we wanted and delivered great results. Also, Nadine is very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Thank you all so much. It was a pleasure working with your team.

We had an amazing experience with Julia Joy for our May 5 wedding in Canmore. Communication before the day was fantastic and Candice and Julia arrived right on time the morning of. But more importantly, they were so sweet and professional and perfectly fit in with the relaxed atmosphere I wanted for myself and my bridesmaids the morning of the wedding. I didn’t get the chance to do a trial because I was coming from out of province but it was a total non issue since Candice and Julia nailed it on the first try and gave me exactly what I wanted! I felt so beautiful on my wedding and my hair and makeup did not budge despite lots of wind, sun and a few tears! Thank you so much Julia and Candice!!

Imann was just amazing. Her hair and makeup was the best I have ever had done. She was so professional but also just the sweetest. She was able to do exactly what I wanted. We had Shayla do our makeup for my Canmore wedding - she was flawlessy able to complete 7 of us on her own! We didn't even do a trial, which I'm sure made it harder for her, and we all looked beautiful. She was patient and very chill for the morning. Nadine was also so easy to communicate with through the whole process.

Julia's team glammed a wedding party I photographed this spring! The bride and bridesmaids had nothing but good things to say about their experience, and the hair and makeup photographed so well and stayed put all day despite the crazy mountain weather. Both Candice and Jess from Julia Joy Make Up did some an incredible job of my hair and my make up for my wedding day. They also did a few other ladies and my little nieces and we were all so pleased with their services. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Julia Joy Beauty Co. was amazing for my wedding! They did the hair and makeup for myself and my 4 bridesmaids and did a phenomenal job! Not only were they so lovely and professional, but managed to even get our looks completed a bit ahead of schedule which made the morning so stress free. It rained on us while we were taking photos and during the ceremony and our hair and makeup lasted all day and night.
