I have had delivery from this store twice now. Both times it was on time or a bit early and the driver was very helpful and pleasant. The produce picked for me has been fresh and very good. Thanks for doing a great job.

Very tidy and clean store. The meat section did not have any bags to put dripping meat in or wipes of any kind. The entry/exit layout is poorly designed.

Love save on. Their store brand “Western Family” is great quality products. The points system gets you free products over time. The member discounts are great. Only complaint is something’s the selection of produce isn’t as good as I’ve seen at other stores.

I had attempted to go through the self checkouts, However, it kept asking for a confirmation from an employee. The general manager was nice enough to come and fix the problem himself as there didn't appear to be any staff who were currently able to help.

It was my first time shopping here and it was my last. I was taking pictures of the prepared food and aisles as I picked up more than a few items. I made sure not to include anyone in my photos. My cart was almost half full when I was approached by a manager telling me that I could not take pictures. I told him that it was only for Google Maps, and I did not take photos of anyone. He said that I was not authorized to and said I could no post. No photos? No review?So, here it is, a review without photos.No one helped us in any of the isles, even though we clearly had difficulty finding items. The man behind the glass salad making area was rude. He basically barked at me when I asked for broccoli salad. The management was rude as well.

There was a sign saying half off in the produce section. The manager went with me to check the price. He saw the sign and agreed that was confusing. He didn't respected the price.

Funny story - me and my daughter went to this Save On Food store on May 21 to order a birthday cake for my wife. We chose the style of one cake on display shelf but STRESSED that we would need a freshly baked one tomorrow because the original label on the display cake showed it’s already 4-day old (made in May 18). The staff, of course, guaranteed. The next day when I picked up the cake, I noticed the cake on display was gone. When I casually mentioned this to my family at home, my daughter said she remembered one within the circle of gumballs on top of the cake yesterday was in a slightly different color. And luckily, we took a picture of the cake yesterday because she liked it so much. So I compared the photo with the actual cake and found out in shock that it was the SAME cake. In short, they lied to us about making a new cake, and instead, they only printed out a fake label to put on this more than five-day-old one indicating it was packaged on May 22.I went back to the store today to file a complaint to the store manager. She actually is the same person that guaranteed a fresh cake 3 days ago. When I mentioned I noticed the display cake was gone, she said immediately in confident that they threw away the old cake on Thursday night (May 21, two day before the original expiration date?!). I said calmly with a smile, “ actually I know for a fact that you didn’t.” :-)))Because of the undeniable evidence I have, they eventually admitted it was the same cake and apologized, saying this was due to miscommunication in their process. They merely refunded me, well, actually one dollar less than what I paid.I am wondering: what type of ‘miscommunication’ made it okay to serve an almost expired birthday cake knowingly with a fake label to the customer? As a communications professional myself, I would recommend the store manager to listen carefully to the whole complaint story first before making any comments next time. That way, you will not end up telling another lie to cover up the previous lie, am I right?

I have shop here loyalty since this stores opening ......recently I was told after buying $150 worth of groceries that I could not get $10 worth of loonies for change ..... to do laundry ....they would give me cash back ..... just not change. If I wanted change I was told take my business somewhere else" by the assistance mang. ..... Well I will ...... never been treated so poorly.."

I was running errands for my grandma and was walking around with a basket. Soon I realized my basket was full but I decided to make it work. The nicest man, from save on, comes up and brings me a cart because he saw I was struggling. I hope that he has a great day.

I’ve only been to Save-On-Foods once! I was surprised by how nice it was. I’ll have to go more times before I can make a verdict on prices and stock.
