The Famous Owl of Minerva
This is probably the best The Owl of Minerva location. For two people, I would highly recommend the Korean fried chicken with mozzarella cheese and Kimchi soup (or pork bone soup). The restaurant is a bit small, and sometimes can be slow due to staff shortage, but the food is fantastic. If you don’t wanna wait, I would suggest to order takeout half an hour in advance.

I was in other Owl restaurants in different locations over the years. Only last year I went to this location. Personally I think this place is the best restaurant in the franchise. The food looks and tastes so great. I see other reviews which say the food portion is small & it can be chaotic because of how limited the place is. I can look pass that. This restaurant is tied to a specific time & memory of mine.

This spot is tucked away in a corner of the Golden Square Centre. It’s a busy little spot. Came in for the first time with my daughters and had to wait a few minutes for a table. The service was efficient and very friendly. Food was really, really good. We tasted why this place was so busy. We will definitely be back.

Came here for a weeknight dinner.Small tables, no frills service, mediocre side dishes.My partner and I got pork bone soup. It came with rice and a few side dishes, which were not the best.The prices have definitely gone up at this restaurant, slightly higher than my favorite Korean joint downtown.Overall a consistent experience.

The food is very good, always hot and fresh. This place is an institution, the customer service is great, always welcoming. The price is affordable. I'm not Korean, but the food feels very authentic. The place looks clean and well kept. It's open 24hrs a day. The spice level is good, not to hot put also not too mild, well seasoned. The few times I've been here it's been a good experience. Definitely recommend this place.

First time eating at this restaurant. Delicious food, great service. I recommend the BBQ beef ribs. I wish I have some now even though I just ate 30 minutes ago :)

Had the MaeEun BulGoGi and it was pretty good as the beef was tender, and coated in a delicious [slightly sweet] sauce. It wasn't really spicy so don't be afraid to try if you're looking for BulGoGi with a small kick. $21 feels a bit pricey, but I suppose now days that's the price for really fresh tasting food.I don't have enough experience to comment on the authenticity of the food, but it did have similar flavours to other Korean restaurants I've been to. Either way, I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for Korean food in Mississauga

Overall the food was good. Quantity was good …. I had bulgogi which I didn’t like much …. It was quite sweet for my taste bud but was well prepared …. Gyoza was good and even the chicken dish we ordered was good.

Had the pleasure to dine at Owl of Minerva for a handful of times, but I must say... I keep coming back because I'm thoroughly impressed! From the moment we walked in, we're greeted with warm smiles and attentive service and the staff got us a table instantly. Almost no wait at all.The menu boasts a wide variety of traditional korean dishes and food however everything we've tried have been absolutely delicious. We typically eat the tteokbokki and the korean fried chicken, which are phenomenal. The portions are generous and flavours are authentic and rich. Rice cakes were cooked to perfection and had just the amount of bounce and spice.The side dishes Owl of minerva provides you are really great - they impress us every time. They're super flavourful and the textures complement the main dishes perfectly.Atmosphere of the restaurant was also really nice, very korean-esque and cozy.Overall, we are now loyal customers of owl of minerva and would recommend anyone looking to eat something cozy or an authentic korean meal to visit owl of minerva.
