This was our first experience working with a professional photographer, and Megan and her team made the process so carefree and enjoyable, not to mention the amazing quality of the finished product!When I first found Megan’s work, I immediately felt a connection to the playfulness of the photos on her website and we loved the brightness of the photos and how it naturally captured the emotions of the event. Megan’s artistic approach, great angles, fun atmosphere, and stunning shots provided everything we were looking for.We wanted photos that looked natural, as one of our concerns was that the photographer would be robotic and the photos would feel over calculated and lacking spontaneity.Amanda truly gave us reasons to smile, making us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the photoshoot. We were gently led into different poses that captured certain pivotal moments, and were also flowing with the moment and letting our imaginations lead into a number of unexpected but jaw dropping images. Nick was also great with the videography, as he was un-invasive capturing every moment and making it seem like he was just part of the guests.Our most favourite thing about the photos is being able to re-live the emotions of that day because they were so beautifully captured.If you need an amazing photographer that lives up to your expectations and also makes you feel like a friend, Megan and her team are your best bet. Their focused and fun skill set provides picture perfect results and natural, eye catching photos. You’d be missing out to overlook them as your first choice for your event.

This review is long overdue, but we were married last August & are so thrilled we picked Megan as our photographer!She was so wonderful from the start. She called us to discuss if we would both be a fit, and took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we picked an option that was within our budget. As well as helping us decide on what moments we wanted captured the most and how to be certain we had time. She went above and beyond what was expected and flawlessly helped me (the bride) when some family tried to takeover the photography schedule!On the big day Megan was a delight to work with! Our most cherished photos are from during the ceremony! My husband and I were both pretty uncomfortable posing, but Megan had all the best tips and tricks to make us feel relaxed, and turn a posed moment into a perfect candid moment. Megan is incredibly talented and professional, while ensuring you feel relaxed and are having fun with her the entire time! We have had countless complements on how beautiful our photos are, and we can’t wait to hire Megan again to capture the next big moment in our lives!!

Having our engagement photo session with Amanda from Megan Maundrell Photography was an absolute dream! She was so much fun and she made it so easy to be in front of the camera! My fiancé and I don't normally like having our picture taken, but we had an absolute blast!!Amanda is the best for getting completely soaked in the rain with my fiancé and I during our session! My partner and I are getting married next summer, and we really wanted to find a photographer who would be able to capture our love in a way that felt authentic to us. As soon as we stumbled across Megan’s page, we felt an instant connection to her beautiful work and her playful nature. All of her photos felt so genuine, and it felt like she was able to capture each couple’s personality so truly.The connection we felt to Megan and her photography style was solidified right from our first interaction with her. She was so warm, welcoming, and bubbly, and she made the process so fun and personalized. We were laughing and smiling throughout the entire consultation process, so we knew we had to book her for our wedding right away.Since our wedding was a while away and we had never worked with a professional photographer before, we also decided to book her for an engagement photoshoot. Megan was so open to chatting with us about what we wanted in order to figure out how she could help us make our dream photoshoot come true. Even though the weather was cold and windy on the day of the photoshoot, Megan was still keen and eager to meet with us and capture our love! She gave us so many reasons to laugh and smile, which made our photos come across as more authentically us. She also offered so many pose suggestions and moment ideas to keep us flowing. We walked away from that photoshoot with our cheeks hurting from laughing and smiling so much.The photos we received back exceeded our expectations. They were so raw and real, and unbelievably beautiful. You could feel the emotions leaping out at you through the photos. These moments between my partner and I were so beautifully captured, and we couldn’t have been happier.If you are looking for a photographer that exceeds all expectations, makes your belly hurt from laughing, and treats you with nothing but respect and kindness, I highly recommend booking Megan and her team! Megan was so easy to work with, it was a pleasure. We had a family photo shoot with her. The day of, it was raining and our baby wasn’t in the greatest spirits so we were thinking to cancel. Megan kindly offered to shoot briefly, just 10 minutes, so that we’d have at least some photos to commemorate our first trip with our baby to a special-to-us place, and her first birthday. I’m so glad we did! The rain stopped just in time and we were all in good spirits so Megan kept shooting. We ended up with the most beautiful photos, mementos of a great family vacation! We had our wedding photographer cancel on us after rescheduling our wedding a few times due to covid and we were devastated! We reached out to Megan who by some miracle had an opening. From our very first phone call with Megan, she put us at such easy. She was so easy to talk to, asked us great questions about our vision, and overall seemed like a really cool human! All the way leading up to our wedding, she was so organized! She was on top of everything, asking questions about things I hadn't even thought of! The day of our wedding shhe was an absolute dream to work with! She made 2 very uncomfortable people in front of the camera, VERY comfortable. It was basically like hanging out with an old friend all day! And talk about prepared! Megan literally has everything in her bag of tricks. While putting on my wedding dress, we were struggling with the buttons. What does Megan do? Pulls out a crochet hook and does up all the buttons in less then 5 seconds! That's just a small example of how amazing she is! She's incredibly professional, talented and very passionate. I also couldn't believe how fast her turn around was! We had our photos so quickly and they turned out so beautiful!! We were so lucky to have Megan be a part of our special day and highly recommend her to everyone!!

I knew I wanted to book with Megan as soon as I spoke to her over the phone! I was worried the session wasn’t going to be personable, but when we spoke her energy was amazing and she was as excited as I was.I was unsure about the location at first, but it ended up being absolutely perfect and I’m so happy she recommended the spot - it’s my #1 favourite thing about the photos.During the session, it was so easy and so much fun to work with Megan.
