What a beautiful little shop! We just picked up some ravioli and sauce and it made a simple and delicious lunch. Can’t wait to come back for some more treats and unique items…I have my eye on the balsamic pearls for next time!

Gigi's feels like Italy right here in Victoria! What a beautiful and welcoming shop full of amazing products at great prices. Definitely going to be a go to shop for all things Italian and delicious! Along with all this Gigi makes the most amazing charcuterie boxes. Such a perfect addition to our community.

Gigi's is amazing! The store offers an outstanding selection of authentic Italian ingredients and delicacies. The owners & staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to provide recommendations. The deli section is a highlight, featuring top-quality cured meats and cheeses. Don't forget to grab a delicious panini and treats too. Highly recommend this place!

If you have not been there, stop wasting time reading this review. Go there. Now.Why? Because this is THE best specialty food store in Victoria. The pasta selection is excellent, there are wonderful sauces, condiments, cheeses, meats, olive oils, snack foods, beverages and so much more. I’ve bought SO many wonderful things there. The Carbone pasta sauce is very, very close to a really good homemade sauce. The Nutella cookies from Italy are delicious and if you think all provolone is the same, buy the one they bring in and you’ll be surprised. If you want to make an amazing peach, prosciutto & burrata salad, buy your deli stuff here. The balsamic vinegar selection is great and they even sell these balsamic pearls that are lovely for appys. I recently bought an Italian Easter bread called Columba; it was so fresh with a delicate crumb and was shot through with creamy chocolate. Yum. At Christmas I bought a panetonne that was blood orange and chocolate; I used it in a recipe for panetonne bread pudding. OMG.And the staff are just lovely; they genuinely love cooking and great food. A friend who has a second home in Lucca has told me she can find some Italian items only at Gigi’s. And they do tasting nights and other foodie events.Overall, they are first for selection, excellent quality and knowledgeable staff. They are MUCH larger than Ottavio’s and much more reasonable than the Market Garden (both of these are very good…I love Ottavio’s bakery and cheeses but their store is tiny and the Market Garden is beautiful but their prices are much higher.)There’s also lots of (free) parking out front.

This store was a pleasant surprise! I have been searching Victoria for Castelvetrano olives (if you know, you know) & was excited to find them here! Gigi's features a blend of Italian imports & local artisan brands that are sure to please. Highly recommend!

This local Cordova Bay store is an absolute gem with the best products and nicest staff. We love how it’s family-run as every time we come to browse or shop, we are always greeted by familiar and kind faces who are keen to help and make recommendations. We also love how we can finally find food products that we had in Italy - truly the best cheeses, sandwiches, pastas, treats… (I could go on!). We recently attended one of their events with Italian snacks and wine and it was such a perfect evening out. We cannot recommend this spot enough whether it’s shopping for products, grabbing lunch, or attending an event. We are lucky to have this so close to home!
