Sun Palace Restaurant
Now called Sun Palace. Absolutely the worst food in Dawson. Myself and my friend had the buffet. Spaghetti noodles for chow mein. Mushy vegetables in the mixed vegetables. To top things off we could hear someone coughing up lung butter in the kitchen area and we stopped eating what was edible. I confronted Young who identified herself as the half owner of the restaraunt and she went crazy when i complained about the food. We ended up leaving without paying anything because the lady was so confrontational and offered a 4 dollar discount on our 35 dollar bill when all we ate was 6 chicken wings and 4 prawns and a piece of broccoli. I was willing to give her some money but she decided to scream and yell and chase us into the parking lot and hit the vehicle with her hands. DO NOT EAT HERE.....

A group of 6 of us ate there yesterday at the buffet for lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed all of their lovely food for a very reasonable price! The skewered shrimp are simply amazing. Their deep fried chicken is moist and delicious. Prawns - great. Lots of other great food for you to try. I think this place is one of Dawson's best eating stops. Best value for your dollar. We stop in to this place whenever we can.The place is very casual but clean. The owners are very friendly.Has a nice big parking lot.Try it.

Ordered ginger beef, beef with vegetables, lemon chicken and chicken chow mein. Most of the meals were ok.. except the chicken chow mein was ridiculous absolutely waste of money called the owner told him it looks gross tastes gross thick spaghetti noodles with some boiled white salty meat on top with a flake or two of carrot/onion he didn't seem to concerned about it no offer of a discount/return Owell money lost I guess

Love this place. It’s not a sit down restaurant anymore like a lot of places since Covid but the food is really good and the people are nice.

Drove through Dawson Creek and stopped to pickup some dinner.Food was fresh and made to order.The family that owns this restaurant is very friendly and welcoming.Will come back again.

Tried ordering off the menu during buffet hours and the cooks response was to get irritated. The server sent him back to the kitchen and responded in an irratated tone that it would take at least 30 minutes! There was 4 people in the restaurant!

I order here frequently. Been ordering here for the last few years and it has always been delicious. It doesn't look like much from the outside but I enjoy the food every time and have never had an issue.

This is garbage. This restaurant should be closed down for serving such garbage food. The food had terrible presentation but the owner was nice as I entered so I thought I'd try it. I'm surprised she has all this praises

The lady was very nice and didn't speak very good English which I thought was a good sign and the atmosphere was that of a humble shop that quite often exceeds expectations. I ordered a combination for 1 with s/s pork, chicken chow mein, and an egg roll. The pork was ok but I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant than I was in the chow mein". A few shredded pieces of what I assume is chicken

Never Again! The chow mein tasted like it were seasoned by cooking it with heavily salted water. The Spring rolls were mushy on the inside. Gross, I couldn't finish it.
