I failed my full G the first time, I'm ok with that. We all make mistakes, but... the examinator, or should i say Terminator

Was recommended canotek by a friend after taking my g2 road test at walkley and not having a great experience. I understand that the testers need to be professional and on the serious side, however the guy doing my road test at Canotek was much more patient and friendly than during my previous experience. The ladies at the front desk were also very kind!

My examiner was Andrew. He's so cool, calm, nice and very polite. Though the lady at the front desk speaks louder than normal. I guess that's just how she talks and some people miss undertand her. My overall experience was great.

I went to get my g1 today and had a really bad experience. The staff were rude, agressive and loud. There was some attitude and eye rolls, sighs from the staff. When I was doing my test It was so loud I could barely hear my thoughts and I had to block my ear in order to read the questions. They were laughing and talking very loudly close and in the room where the test are done. I had to ask headphones. But even then I could hear them. I did not feel good leaving this place. Horrible experience would not recommend to anyone.

The staff at the test center are sad people. Pretty sure the down syndrome receptionist tried pressuring me into giving her my new address so she could stalk me or something. Very sad looking miserable people that need to lay off Haugen das.

I encourage everyone to share their feedback good or bad, because I feel that something is way off in these driveTest centers(visit date March 2023).One lady at the main entrance (on the right after you enter) is rude and loud, I felt like I entered a mandatory army enlisting centre. The employees behind the counter were all very polite and courteous and they talked and answered in a very helpful and professional way.When I sat for the G1 test, I was struggling to focus because the door remains open and it is very loud outside, I could hear and see the same lady patrolling around and giving orders and shouting at a mother who was trying to take a picture of her daughter sitting for the G1. I know that many visitors are not following the cellphone use rules but you need to ask them nicely and not shout at them in front of their family members.I did not think that people in administrations are treated like this in Canada (what a fool I guess).Anyway, for anyone reading this, please do not accept any rude behavior and talk to the supervisor or the MTO or write a review detailing the good or bad, they need our feedback to improve, otherwise your kids will be tyrannized here one day.

The front lady receptionist is very kind and patient especially handling customers with various requests. Highly recommend this location for out of province requests and go there half hour earlier than it opens. Please open multiple counters in the morning, that will allow a faster processing time.

Very organized and helpful place. I ended up having an error to correct on my license discovered while going for a test, which they helped correct without issue.They are “strict” in keeping things moving and people organized, but it’s not rudeness it’s them trying to keep everyone moving.

I would give zero stars if possible. I had a horrendous experience with the service. On their website it said the wait line was around 45 minutes. We waited around two and a half hours because the workers told us that I had time to do the g1 test. We already paid the fee and two and a half hours later, five minutes before closing they told me that I had to go home as they are closing soon. There was an open spot for the test however they told us that they would not give a second more after five (the closing time) and if I couldn't finish in the five minutes even if I had three questions left they would cancel my test and make me retake it another day. Spent over three and a half hours on absolutely nothing.
