We took our dog, Bert, to the CALM CANINE classes with Donna MacTavish. We absolutely love her! We would recommend her a million times, and to everyone in the world. We are so grateful for her patience and consideration when bringing our extremely reactive dog in. She is an excellent teacher and we are beyond thankful for everything we learned in this experience. Thank you so much Donna!

I had a great experience with the calm canine class, Donna and Revel were so welcoming and put me at ease after a bad experience at a different dog training organization. The only reason for 4 stars is the location, a bit hard to find and far out.

I've taken my very active 8-month old Husky/Shepherd Arnold here for daycare for the last four months and he loves it. There is a ton of space to run around and play with the other dogs, regular outside potty breaks and lots of water to drink (or 'play with' in Arnold's case). They post Instagram videos throughout the day so we can check in to see what he's up to.The staff all know him by name and are very friendly. They are all professional and knowledgeable and provide feedback for things Arnold can work on at home. They watch the group of dogs carefully and enforce breaks if dogs are showing signs of stress or overexcitability.We've also taken him for Bootcamp sessions, where we got detailed homework for some of the things we'd had trouble training him on our own - and had just started Basic Manners group class before everything got shut down due to COVID - nothing but positive experiences!

I have had so much help from Courtney with regards to my film training, from training advice, to behaviour advice, to client advice. She shows a real understanding of her business and is able to think outside the box and adapt her ideas for so many tricky situations. My biggest sadness is that she’s in Canada and I’m in the UK! You only have to see Courtney with her own animals and what she’s achieved, to know she’s one of the best film trainers in the business.

My dog is always so excited to come to daycare!! The staff are friendly and have been very accommodating for my changes in schedule, short notice daycare drop offs, etc. I love the online booking and payment system as well - very convenient! I love being able to see/watch my dog play and enjoy their day on the Instagram stories ❤️

My puppy had a great day at boot camp with Courtney. Came home exhausted! Haha

Cannot reccomend them enough. I went in with a very anxious pup ( and lets be honest my own anxiety too) not only did i see improvements after the first class which blew my expectations out of the water, i also felt that Donna understood Luna and I on a level that i wasnt used to. I recomend any one looking for training to take one of their many classes. Luna and I will definately be taking a few more!

We had a great experience taking the calm canine class. Donna is amazing! She was welcoming, funny and patient with us and our dog. She taught us so many great things, in manageable weekly amounts that wasn’t overwhelming.

My pup loves coming to daycare! The staff has been wonderful with giving updates on how she does and always give her so much love. I always feel great about leaving her for a half or full day because I know she will be well looked after and get some quality and safe time in with other dogs!
