What a difference a year makes. I used these guys last winter for snow removal and they were great. This year, they DOUBLED their price so I chose not to go with them, but decided to use them again for leaf removal as I did last year. Well they took my money fast enough and never showed up. Countless calls made and emails sent, plenty of excuses received. I gave up and we demanded our money back (which we got) but I will never ever use them again. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company

Still waiting for the driveway to be cleared completely after a week and half of asking for help.. Only half of my driveway is cleared today. Last year, it took them three days to come and clean. When I spoke with CSR, I was told to wait for 24-36 hours.

Toronto Residents: stay away. Yardly is based in Alberta and it shows. They clearly don't have adequate snow removal capacity in Toronto. I signed up for 3 hour VIP snow removal for 2021/2022 as part of the Year-Round Plan. They never showed up on time even once. Literally not once. During the major snowfall in early February, they took three days to show up when my neighbours had their driveways cleared within a day or so. I understand a delay given the volume of snow, but having my car barricaded in the garage for three days when I paid extra for the VIP" plan is absurd. As part of my service

As a first time need of a snowplowing service due to hernia surgery in December 2022, I decided on Yardly as they looked to have a big operation for the prices they charge (nearly double the next most expensive competitor). The first snowfall we had this year, my neighbour had to come out and give a shovelling to our side of the semidetached shared driveway using their snowblower.the second snowfall that started Jan 25th and ended early Jan 26th, we did not receive services until 11:30 at night even though i called them several times. Their email states that during 10cm+ events they will try to rotate through all their customers and come back a second time. They never showed up during the snowstorm so something was definitely amiss. When they did finally show up, they didn't have a plow on their truck. They didn't have a snow blower in their truck. It was two people using hand shovels to clear the significant amount of snow. How can i pay $400 a month for this!?Lastly, today, Jan 29th, the snow stopped falling ~1pm and it's currently 8:45pm with no shoveling in sight. what has fallen today looks to be turning to ice and i'm pretty sure they wont be able to clear it if they come with just shovels.I've walked down my subdivision sidestreet and almost every driveway has been plowed or shoveled already, except ours. i'm going to have to have my neighbour help me out as Yardly just doesn't seem to be able to get their act together.I won't be renewing services with them and will look to break the contract early. This was extremely disappointing as i physically could not shovel it myself even if i wanted to.i don't necessarily blame the people coming doing the shoveling but it looks like yardly subcontracts out their work. buyer beware.EDIT: moved from a 2 star to a 1 star. Its march 4th at 5pm in Toronto. i had to go out and shovel myself. Sent an email firing this company. For $450 a month, i expected better service than this.

Do not use this company! I have paid for a spring clean-up…..it is almost June, and they have not arrived. I have paid to have my lawn cut and trimmed…..they have come once. The trimming was not done, there is grass all over the patio and there is a stripe down the middle of the lawn. They hide behind e-mail and do not answer the phone. Attached are photos of the trimming and clean up after.

I stayed in Edmonton.Had a very bad service with Yardly Edmonton.Renew the contract on October, but never show up after October.Checked with them, they apologized saying they missed the contract. Then they activated the contract (they said), take the money from my credit card, and never show up. I still need to clean snow myself everyday, and no one from Yardly show up.I decided let everyone know about it,don’t use this company anymore.

Save yourself some headache and go with someone else. They have pushed back my spring cleaning and start date multiple times and when they finally gave me a date for lawn cutting they didn't show up. When I called they said they didn't find parking which is ridiculous because there is space in my driveway and on the street. Seems like they don't care and don't take pride in their business

Signed up for weekly mowing for my Mother who is in her 70’s. June 3rd was supposed to be the first visit, no one has showed up at all, no email or phone call. Grass has not been watered in the event of Yardly possibly showing up so now we’re dealing with long grass and patches of yellow grass. Called today to cancel and was told they have had to let go of some contractors and are having a hard time replacing them, so clearly they are short staffed yet keep taking on new clients. Don’t waste your time, find a different company.

I'm really struggling with snow removal services from this company and would not recommend them. Over the last two months they have only removed snow from my property once even though there were at least 5 events where they should have provided services. They refuse to clean snow because cars are in the driveway but are not willing to give me a heads up on when they are coming or even knock so the residents can move the cars. They keep shifting onus on me to keep my car parked on the street for hours on end and this means the city may not be able to clear snow from the street! So I have to choose between being a bad citizen and neighbour or not getting a service I'm paying for. I have never had this experience with other snow removal companies. Would NOT recommend - they are taking no responsibility, not willing to work with me on a solution, and expect me to keep paying for a service they are not delivering. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

I just wanted to thank Yardly and their team for doing a great job. This is my first year using them for my snow removal. I have been very pleased with their service thus far. After receiving an email yesterday that it may be Wednesday before my driveway would be cleared, due to the road closures and extreme amounts of snow, I have to admit I was somewhat disappointed and a little nervous at the thought of being housebound until then. However, I was pleasantly surprised very early this morning when I looked out to see that the representative was just putting his equipment away and my driveway had been totally cleared. I would imagine that they were likely working around the clock to try to satisfy all of their customers. I was so relieved and appreciative that I wanted to let them know. I'm sure there were lots of other customers feeling like me too. Thanks again to Yardly for a job well done!Sincerely,Janice LeGrand
