I just finished cutting my hair at Brother’s and they messed it up so bad i had to go to the barbershop Le Barbu next door to fix my haircut.

It’s a nice place, it’s designed to attract a younger customer basis. Depending on who is there you will be greeted. It’s important to at least be greeted and for someone to ask you what you want done and how long you will need to wait, for someone to tell you to take a seat and feel comfortable. That’s how you get business. And yes it’s true there’s people who are just hanging out there which can be a little intimidating if your not familiar with the place. My brother went there and they greeted him well and gave him an amazing hair cut and beard shaped and trimmed for 25$. But I have heard from others they did not get the same treatment. So 3 stars. Nice pool table by the way.

Been walking by this place for a couple years now and it's always packed. I decided to try it for the first time yesterday and let me say that I am not disappointed! Gomelo is very welcoming and pays attention to every detail. Haircut, beard and brows set me back 25$, very very reasonable in my opinion. The shop has a cool and hip vibe to it, but don't let that deter you if you are over 30 years old! ;)

WORST EVER SHOP. Find somewhere else for both hair and beard cut. Ruined my beard completely and behaviour was completely unprofessional. I didn’t find professional barber there AND Mine one seemed clearly a SCHOOL BOY. Don’t waste money here. I spend another 20$ at other barbershop to set my beard.

First time here without appointments gets chosen by this African barber that has zero skillDoesnt use blade on my beard on anything doesnt do my lineup cuts my hair short without even asking meI didnt tell him what he did wrong or else he wouldve done more experiment on meWasnt expecting this from this shop

Nice place, clean, spacious, and the barbers seem good for the most part. Prices are reasonnable too. However, they need to do a better job at greeting customers. When I went there for the first time, I was totally ignored at first and I had to ask one of the barbers how they work (they will put your name down on a list eventually). Also, the place is popular, so don't be surprised if you wait 1+ hrs without an appointment.

I always do walk-ins and I let the barber know beforehand that I'm a person that has a lot of dandruff , they usually don't mind and start cutting my hair. They assume I don't understand Montreal French slang, since I'm more of an English speaker, and I always get made fun of by the other barbers mid through the cut, making rude comments and remarks even after leaving them with an extremely generous tip that I now regret. After 3+ years of going here, this is the last time I'll be going

Decent place prices are good. A barber by the name of Alberto is great. He skilled, friendly takes his time so you get the cut that best for you. There long waiting time depending on key hours but its worth it for that kind of service. My only gripe with the place is that not everyone of them speaks english or has the same skill sense. So find the barber that best fits you there and you cant go wrong:)

Nice place. It depends who cuts your hair...although there a few good ones that I have seen.
