I have been getting my eyebrows done by Raj at this salon for six years now. Her service is top notch, always! I am particular about keeping the natural shape of my brows and Raj understands exactly how I like them shaped. She is very talented and works quickly/efficiently. I’ve also recommended her to friends and family who have since become her regular clients here, as well.

i got my eyebrows threaded today and i specifically told the lady to keep them thick and make sure they're the same shape. i'm not sure how she managed to do the complete opposite of what i asked for. she made the gap in the middle so big and shortened the ends so much. and they're so uneven. i've been to this salon before and i've gotten good results but the problem is they have multiple ladies working here. some of them do a good job but others will butcher your eyebrows. i suggest finding someone who will map your eyebrows and then shape them so you can see what they look like before she removes the hair. or just do them yourself

I have been customer of velvet for more than a year now. It has been a very good experience with Manna who always cut mine and my kid hairs. He is very skilled in his job and do his job very patiently to the customer’s full satisfaction. Today, he cut hairs even for my 1.5 year old son and we really appreciate the work that he did for a very small kid. I recommend Velvet Salon and Manna to everyone.

Since coming to Canada 3 years ago, have tried several barbers but never felt they were upto the standard of barbers back home. Especially for beard and mustache. But I must say Manna at velvet salon raises the bar here. Awesome haircut and beard everytime

I went in for a haircut here for the first time (I usually use Great Clips). The hairdresser, Roberto, was nice and gave me what I wanted. I had their ‘women’s haircut’ coupon for $18, but was told it applies only to ‘basic’ haircuts. The charges for a simple layer cut (I was literally in & out in 10 minutes…it was more like a trim) were $31 + tax. They’ve not specified this on the website so I felt a little cheated. Since I was already there, I went ahead with the haircut. I will be going to Great Clips for my basic needs from now :)

VERY IMPORTANT: I have visited this place many times and every time I was charged for the taxes (which is fine) but they failed to provide me the GST/PST or HST number. They DO NOT print that number on the receipts, neither they could provide me, which according to my knowledge is against the law. Even today March 5, 2023, when I asked the clerk, she said that she just work there and she had told the owner (when someone complained last time) but the owner has NOT provided the number....... So I do not where people`s 13% tax is going. Receipt cannot be even read properly. (See attached picture)Secondly, sometime ago, when I wanted my son and my hair cut, I asked the price, they gave me the price for a child and for a adult. (they did not ask the age of my son) I was okay with the price so we both got the hair cut at the same time. When I was going to pay, I was asked that I should pay for 2 adults because while one person was cutting my son's hair, she asked his age and he told her that he recently turned 10. So now I have to pay for 2 adults. I had to pay for 2 adults.Thirdly, Do not expect any customer service, like any type of customer service. I go there only for the convenience.

I am on 2nd Trip to Velvet Spa, my first hair cut was amazing, and my wife has done her hair and she loves it, my best recommendation to anyone who needs a professional haircut , ladies haircut, and stylist are all great. Check them out!!

No option for zero review. Very bad service. Went there for eyebrows and upper lip for first time. Never gonna be there again. Worst service ever. This is how they do eyebrows. One thick and one thin. According to them its perfect.

Amazing service! I got my highlights and haircut done by Amy who was very accommodating and helped me a lot as it was my first time getting my hair dyed. The manager Pinky was also very kind and made sure we had a pleasant experience. Will be sure to come back!

I drive all the way from Oakville, 3rd line to get hair cut. I have been their regular client for last 3 months, as of their high hospitality & welcoming attitude. I called before coming, today I got in for the cut first they took me in around 7:20pm after 6/7 minutes the other receptionist came to me, said we will not do your cut, as you called to come by 7:15pm Now one guy just walked in before you so come tomorrow. She had no excusing tone or humble attitude. As a natural reaction i said i will get cut from somewhere else, she literally smirked at me & said do whatever you want to do" It was a straight disgrace. When I became their client they were new & looking for clients. Barbershops & saloons are highly hospitalized & have polite mannerism based businesses
