This is what a Walmart should be,the most well stocked on the island,their seasonal and fishing and hunting section are great!As well the staff are really friendly/helpful!We travel up from Victoria,and never miss a chance to stock up there.

It's just what you expect from Walmart. Handicapped accessible parking, entrance and wide aisles. Handicapped accessible public bathrooms. Plenty of parking, but always busy. This location is attached to Woodgrove Mall, accessible from the shared parking lot and through an adjoining indoor walkway. (Convenient for bad weather) There is also a McDonald's location inside the Walmart store. (Adjacent to the cashier/checkout stands) This being a Superstore" Groceries are available in addition to the expected Clothing

Just tried my first online order, very impressed! Picked it up today only two days latter and right in front the pick up booth is there. I'll be doing this again, no line ups or crowds. And for GO Pro battery replacements, best price I've seen.

A good place to the majority of your groceries and daily necessity, parking can be limited due to the high volume that comes in and out. Its near a very good mall for additional shopping.

Walmart works very hard to be the same as every other store in it's franchise. It has succeeded here. While not as bad as the US customers, one can certainly see some oddballs roving the aisles occasionally. People aside, on weekends there is a shortage of cashiers for shoppers with over 20 items. By Saturday afternoon, the grocery shelves are rather bare in places, which is rather frustrating. The pharmacy randomly opens and shuts, although this does not seem to occur as often lately.In summary, it's a discount shopping experience, so putting up with the disadvantages is a necessary evil.

I love to go to Walmart in Nelson. Everything i need is there. The staff are good, they let me charge my cellphone. When i run of out of battery.They help my daugther to remove the toy box and cut the toy ties.thank you

Over all always a good experience.However today I noticed a few of the employees struggling in the personal space department. I know it was not intentional on their parts but it was aggravating for me as my 1 year old was in the cart and they were all up in his space either trying to assist me at the self check out or hovering waiting to get my car as I am loading my groceries into my car. Then attempting to take my cart cover off them selves rather than just letting me unload my cart and take it to the cart return. I also noticed lack of listing when told to give me my space.
