Food was consistent with other A&W as far as quality goes.How ever... my son and I regularly wake up early and go to the Owen Sound location for breakfast, the friendly staff and the exceptional service brings us back every weekend in the winter months.We have a trailer in owen sound and wanted to try breakfast here. The staff taking our order were polite, but clearly miserable... and it wasn't long until we understood why as we could hear the woman in the kitchen verbally acosting the staff members and just being all together awful.No salt and pepper shakers on tables, we had to ask for mugs I'm sure because they didn't want to wash them.

My boyfriend and I just came home from A&W Hanover Ontario.Phone number on receipt and online website rings 3-times and goes to a fax machineCalled 4X same thing “Fax Machine”!!When we got home and took our order out of the bag.We ordered; Chicken BLT w/extra MayoPapa burger w/cheese mustard, pickle, lettuceOne onion ring, one fry and small ROOT BEER.I thought it was a pretty basic order.What we got wasChicken BLT withNO BACON NO TOMATOES AND VERY LITTLE MAYO.BASICALLY CHICKEN AND LETTUCE ON A BUN!!Ordered Papa Burger with Cheese, lettuce, mustard, pickleNO CHEESE, NO LETTUCEBASICALLY GOT A BURGER WITH MUSTARD & PICKLE.For this order we paid $28.09. For this money I could of had a nice steak meal somewhere.Ridiculous that we pay this kind of money for a messed up mess that we didn’t order.Then on top of all that I can not even reach a person on the phone to talk about the messed up order.Hence why the now have this bad review on a public site.I will be taking this up with them in person when I am back in town. I live in the country and I am about 40km from this A&W location.

Hands down better quality food than it's competitor! Bacon Egger is an awesome fresh bun , fresh egg and real cheddar cheese not a processed cheese product! Real food real nutrition real good price! Hey I should write them a real good Jingle @Studio1954!

I had the special burger, and it was nice; there wasn't any garlic sauce on it, but it was still good. I would have given it a 4-star, but the oil in the deep fryer needed to be changed as the fries looked black and tasted awful from the overuse of the oil. The staff was excellent, and the store was immaculate.
