The receptionist on our check in ( the 11/03/23 ) was kind of cold , the room itself is normale , exactly like in the picture but no isolation, we can hear next door walking or showering, the door room we have to slam it in order to get it closed ( room 39 ) , and obviously we can hear the group of snowmobile engine on the morning ( 7am approx ) running and leaving so we get awake .The only positive point is the other receptionist that check us out on the ( 14/03/23 ) she was really sweet and helpful.

Great place to stay, clean and well run. Good and drink, very good at the restaurant. Pleasent stay with 9 snowmobilers. Park sleds in front of first floor rooms.

The location is great- walkable distance to the beach. The front receptionist Amandine was very helpful and ensure your needs are been heard. We enjoyed our stayed. The rooms are modern and clean.Their outdoor pool is open 10h-20h

Nice, clean rooms. The pub/restaurant at the hotel was a good place to eat with good food. Be sure to reserve at the restaurant to get a table on the patio. The pool was a good size with a full-time lifeguard. Also there is a nice sitting area by the pool with a fire pit.

The hotel location is really good everything is walkable lots of parking etc.The room is comfortable I did have 2 beds on my own was great if there’s more than 2-3 people the room would be cramped I think.The bathroom was good size and modern clean.The room doesn’t come with breakfast which is a little disappointing they do have a restaurant on site where the staff are friendly.The only downside to this hotel it’s on a busy road and unfortunately the sound proofing isn’t that great I had a room on the ground floor the view was great.

There were a number of little problems with this place, but my biggest concern was safety. We paid for a seaside room on the second floor so we could enjoy the private blacony. The bars on our balcony moved to create gaping holes at the slightest touch. My young kids discovered this when the youngest almost fell to pavement one storey below. The hotel considered that comping us a restricted menu breakfast (think eggs and toast) was suitable compensation. I disagree. They literally said if you hadn't taken breakfast we would have given you back 30$. it's clear that because there are few places to stay in Carleton-sur-mer, client satisfaction is not a priority. On top of this, our lamp was broken, our fridge smelled like rotting seafood when we arrived, the door to our room was dripping in rust, and although the rooms were renovated

This hotel is located right off the main road and the beach is right across the street so my personal recommendation is NO need to pay extra $ to upgrade to so called sea view rooms. the onsite restaurant should provide a great dine-in experience as it faces the ocean with fantastic view, however the hotel rooms are kind of compact and quite small in size.

We parked our small truck/camper all the way back on the parking lot behind the hotel. There is no service( water, electricity) at all. We stayed one night. The parking spot was quiet. There are plenty of picnic tables there. It’s not pretty, but very convenient. The view of mountains and flowers on the field is beautiful. You can use hotel washroom 24 hours a day also you can go for a swim in their outdoor swimming pool.The cost is reasonable. $25 plus taxes.They have an free ice machine to cool your drinks or for your cooler.
