Wayne's Bagels

The bagels at this place are very good. That being said, I ordered the eggs Benedict and the smoke meat mighty breakfast sandwich and they were below average, they put excessive sauce on the sandwich to the point I could eat it and the bennies were hard, also the hollandaise sauce taste plain. Not a pleasant experience. I wish can correct this and improve the quality of their sandwiches since their bagels actually are very good.

First off, wonderful staff at this spot, very friendly. But we ordered 3 small bagel sandwiches, and one eggs Benedict, with 2 drinks and it was 66 bucks.... The sandwiches were good, but they were not worth more than 7 dollars each, let alone the $13 to $15 each, and without any side whatsoever. Lastly, the eggs benedict was one of the worst I've had, the holendase sauce was almost clear in color, and had 0 flavor. Again, good staff, waaaayyy overpriced food.

These bagel sandwiches are yum! Breakfast, lunch, lots of options to choose from or build your own, plus pick up a dozen for home. The sandwiches are made fresh so plan to hit up another vendor or two while you wait for your order.

The bagel tasted great, the service left something to be desired. I ordered a breakfast bagel and asked them to cut it in half because my wife and I were going to share it. We got the sandwich and noticed it was not cut so I went back to ask them to cut it. The your man how helped me said they normally don't’ cut that one because it’s pretty large (something not evident in the picture) but recognized that I had asked him so he put it aside for his coworker to cut anyway. When the coworker got around to it she noticed which sandwich it was and said that they don’t usually cut that one because it can get very messy. I explained that I had asked for it to be cut when we ordered it and that I am sharing it; that’s why we bought a sandwich to share. I said that it would have been good for someone to tell me this when I ordered it then. She replied telling me “next time, let us know that when you order”. I said “I did”. She said “you didn’t tell me” (there is a sign saying not to disturbed the person making sandwiches). I said “I told him” and motioned to her coworker who took my order. She cut the sandwich, smiled and said “OK thank you!” No apology or acknowledgement that they had a hand in any misunderstanding; just feedback for the “next time” I order, as though I go there everyday. Great food, just broadcast any requests to all staff at the store or you will be “educated” on how to communicate.

Amazing bagels!!.. It has nice chewy bounce, not dense like other bagels.Combined that with ham and cheese, Tuna brings the taste to another level.

Tried this place for the first time. Amazing bagel, got the clubhouse and it was delicious. I really liked how they cut the bagel in half. I only gave 4 stars because I felt it was a bit overpriced for the portion, but I guess food prices in general are increasing. I definitely would come back here but I would like to try out the other ones. The breakfast bagels look good. Service was fast and prompt.

The BLT bagel hit the spot for breakfast. The bagels were fresh and spot on. Great spot to grab lunch before a drive out to the mountains.

Let’s start out with, I love Wayne’s Bagels! Their other locations, amazing! This one, a let down.I was excited to learn that one of my favourite bagel places will be around the corner. Great for weekly visits! Unfortunately, maybe not.The customer service lacks - I understand being alone and making orders. There was no greeting, or to let their customers know they will be there soon. I get it, so I waited. Another person runs up to them asks for bagels. Laughs and said again? They wash their hands with their gloves on! Hygiene practice? Awful. Uses paper towels to dry her gloves. I can still see that they are wet and they picks the bagels with them! Bags them, and the other customers is off. They didn’t acknowledge me still.I don’t know if I would have brought bagels from them afterwards if they use the same gloves for everything. I’ll drive downtown or to the other farmers market!Here’s hoping their hygiene practices & customer services improve.

Fast service, the turkey bagel was delicious.

The bagels are good if you like onion bagels, because they all tasted like onion; the whole wheat, blueberry, pumpernickel, cinnamon raisin... Not a nice taste especially with a sweet breakfast bagel. Incidentally, our order did not include any onion bagels. We won’t be buying from them again.
