I was thrilled to see that they have reopened! They have been there since about 20 years ago!! I used to live up the street and went to high school across the street so they were definitely the go-to spot for quick eats! I'm sad that they no longer sell the same food that I was looking forward to (fries supreme, chicken burger, etc) but I'm so happy for them to be back! They now sell Chinese food but they still live up to their name of being Yummy"! You can totally taste the "wok hei" in the food. I also picked up some of their homemade frozen dim sum. I don't go downtown often at all but when I'm in the area

A super friendly mom and pop Chinese restaurant! They make everything from scratch. Good portions and prices. They also have super delicious homemade frozen dim sum. They even have cheap lunch specials during the week for the high school students. Will definitely return to try different things on their menu!!

Yummy House is a lovely little family-owned restaurant right across from my old high school, Riverdale Collegiate Institute. They have delicious, cheap meals, featuring both delectable Chinese dishes and Canadian favourites. My fave go-to is their poutine; I became such a regular that I would walk in and the lovely owner (I think the father of the family) would simply start making a poutine and start packaging it up for me before I even said word. The prices are super student-friendly, with the poutine just being $5 CAD flat! The family is also super sweet. There is very limited seating however, as it usually a take-out only place. Highly recommend stopping here for a quick bite!

Great spot for delicious takeaway. I got the hot and sour soup, house special fried rice, and beef Ho Fun noodles. Loved each dish! The homemade chili oil was a nice touch.

One of my favourite local restaurants!Amazing lunch food, bubble tea and frozen dim sum to take home. The owners are so lovely and I couldn’t recommend this spot more. Their homemade chilli oil is a must!

So Yum! Always fresh! My friend recommended this place to me asI’m staying by my boyfriends near by and I don’t regret it! They’re super friendly.They work hard and most of all they’re very welcoming. I hope they get back on their feet and grow since they been closed a very long time. I would be going back again , again and again!

Went there today after them being closed for a while. Incredibly happy they have reopened as they are a staple in the Leslieville area. That being said, I ordered their Saturday daily special, General Tso's chicken on steamed rice ($12)- absolutely mind-blowing. I strongly suggest you order this if you're apprehensive about trying this spot. I also ordered a side of their popcorn chicken ($3.50). 10/10 will be there again.
