Recently my car had some engine issues due to the worn out spark plugs in my car. I went to Mr. Lube to get it fixed but unfortunately 2 of the 4 spark plugs were stuck inside. Mr. Lube suggested that I go to Minit Tune and brake to get the issue resolved. So when I went there, they estimated that to get my car working again and the spark plugs removed would be $5000 total which is an absolute scam. They said their labour cost alone is $2100 and the new parts required is additional $2900.Luckily my dad talked some sense into me and I brought it to Vancouver brake and wheel. They fixed up the spark plug issues for only $526. I don’t recommended anyone going to Minit Tune and Brake unless they don’t mind getting scammed.

Even though they could not fix my A/C because it was a high voltage compressor Adrian was very helpful and thorough. He refunded me the cost of the labour, explained everything and found another repair center were they fixed my car.

On May 27, 2003, for a simple synthetic oil change, the total cost $CAD 155.00. I know for sure my car has power steering fluid leaking problem. I ask them to check where the leak comes from. They tell me flushing power steering fluid and refilling will fix the leak!? I am no mechanic, but I am not that dumb to believe them. I don't know if they honestly use fully synthetic oil for my car. I ask them, they say that they use Mobile 1 bulk oil. Fully synthetic oil supposes to be good for at least 10,000Km, they tell me to change oil again after 4,000Km.Minit-Tune is not trust-worthy! I never let them handle my car again.

I am a frequent customer of this shop.I went to Minit-Tune to fix the right front window of my car suddenly not working.The shop charged $140 for 1 hour of labour(diagnose) and $70 for 0.5 hour of labour(repair) before tax.Minit-Tune has never charged a diagnostic fee every time I come in for a repair so far.I've been repairing cars in Canada for 20 years, but the shop doesn't charge a diagnostic fee if the customer does the repairs.If the customer does not repair, the diagnosis fee must be paid.The most serious problem was that the service advisor charged the customer without informing the diagnosis fee and the exact amount in advance.This problem is very serious because the shop cheated on customers.If the service advisor had accurately informed the customer of the diagnosis fee and amount in advance, I would have gone to another shop for repairs right away.I will ask until the end of the refund of the first diagnosis fee.If a refund is not possible, a second formal claim will be made to the BBB and a third formal claim to the FTC.

I went in for a simple alignment adjustment and tire inspection. Not only did they not fix the issue but my steering had new problems after their time with the car. They told me some non sense about my tires and didn't even bother to fix/change them.I took my car to toyota open road dealership and they fixed everything like it was brand new.I wouldn't come here and complain about it, but I almost got into a horrible accident due to their irresponsible neglect.I cannot believe that someone would put people's lives at danger just because they want to earn a quick buck.Appalling.Avoid this place if you value your time and money.

I had such a positive experience at Minit-Tune today. The staff was super friendly and truly took their time to explain to me what parts of my car needed maintenance and why. As someone who knows NOTHING about cars, I truly appreciated that. My Jeep has some issues (it’s quite old) but they never tried to diagnose anything other than what I came in for - they did not try to pressure me in any way to spend more. At the end of the appointment, Adrien at the front desk talked to me about my car and recommended road trips that it could be great for - it was really thoughtful (and great advice). I would highly recommend coming to this shop, I definitely will continue to do so.

Recently I have a very positive experience there. My budget was very limited and my brakes were, to say it politely, not up to the par. Despite all this the entire staff led by Adrian and Chris went above and beyond to make sure that my car would be safe to drive at the end of the day and within the budget. I truly appreciated their professionalism and friendly manner. Two thumbs up and I recommend their service very highly. Fantastic service! Thanks.

I've come in twice and the quality of service was constant. They did a great job fitting us in short notice both times. I don't live in the area but come here for family. If I ever need a repair they will be my first choice, I have already recommended them.

I love this garage!! It’s 45 minutes away from my house but I return because their genuine concern for my vehicle. I’m not an automotive girly and the patience they give when helping me understand what’s going on and what my options are is so refreshing

I have been going to Minit Tune Coquitlam for 10 years and three cars and have experienced really - really good service. Adrian is a qualified mechanic who takes all the interviews and takes care of all the service and is extremely service oriented he is really a nice gentleman nice to deal with and makes sure that your quality and the things that you expect is done. I've been super pleased with all their work, and I can't say enough about it. A 10 out of 10. Make sure to ask for Adrian.
