Wisteria Guest House

We’ve stayed on Saltspring a lot, but this was our first time here. Really loved this place. The bed was very comfortable. The common room was fantastic, tons of space, room to sit, books, puzzles and games galore. This would be a great place for a family get together. It’s within a 15 minute walk of downtown Ganges.

Amazing! Highly recommend! My boyfriend and I stayed at Wisteria for 2 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are cozy, comfy and VERY clean! I also requested to change down sheets to poly-fill and they prepared the room for us prior to our arrival. Common area felt homey as well, with a free selection of teas/coffee and freshly baked goods! Close to city centre by foot. We also loved receiving cuddles from Steve the cat -- he's extremely sweet and friendly!

Len and Katie were awesome hosts! Very accommodating! We stayed for my husbands 50th birthday, his first time on the island. As we traveled around to little shops before our arrival many places spoke highly of Wisteria Guest House, it was very refreshing.Someone was always available for any needs we had!

What a cute Bed and Breakfast! The location was close to town and very beautiful. Our host, Len, was kind and very knowledgeable of the area, telling us the best places to hike, canoe, see wildlife, and dine out. Breakfast each morning was tasty and accommodating of dietary needs. Overall a very nice spot for a weekend trip or a summer getaway!

The owners care about the comfort of their guests. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are well set-up. We stayed for four days. They offer coffee & tea as well as cookies in the afternoon. The Wisteria gardens are magnificent. Location is a 10 minute walk from restaurants. We highly recommend it.

We are so fortunate to have found such a welcoming and cosy place to stay in Salt Spring. Wisteria Guest House is quiet and yet walking distance to Ganges and its restaurants and market. Our beautiful studio was tucked away and reached through a boardwalk path surrounded by plants. Thank you Len and family for the wonderful breakfasts and for your kindness. You have made us feel at home and we know we will be back on our next visit to the island.

My wife and I had a great stay at Wisteria Guest House. The host, Len, was excellent; he gave us a tour around the house and showed us on a map, some of the best things to do on the island.Our room was very comfortable and cozy. The common area had a large selection of teas and coffee available as well as books, board games, and a TV. It was a wonderful space to hang out and catch up on some reading. Lastly, I have to mention that Steve, the cat, is very affectionate and friendly and will keep you company while you are in the common area, so if you like cats this is an added bonus.

Great place run by Len. Len has great energy and works hard to ensure his guests enjoy their stay. Old school rooms, well kept, hot beverages and cookies are always out in common area. The common area is where you can watch tv, grab a hot drink, play a game or play a puzzle. Lots of books to peruse.

Exceptional host, beautiful nature around, and convenient stay is awaitong you.It gives you a sense that living in a big, fabolous house with the rest of family. Watching tv with each other, say good night, eat together, etc.Wonderful antique decoration.Only things which could be better: adding a bigger fridge to the kitchen, a sink to do simple dishwashing, some kitchenware, more towels. We'll be back here regardless of these things because of 1000 and one thing:The one thing is that when you walk in the middle of night in the house, you will feel the amazing atmosphere. Try it.

My husband and I just enjoyed a two-night stay (May 2022). The property is very cute and has a lot of character. Len and his family are very friendly and great hosts. Breakfast is served in their dining room which has tables for 9 parties I believe. The two-course breakfasts are delicious and restaurant quality. There is also tea and coffee available throughout your stay.We had the smallest room but it had everything we needed. The bed was very comfy, and the bathroom had toiletries and a hairdryer. There are no tvs in the rooms but there is a shared tv in the dining room along with board games and a huge collection of books.The house cat, Steve, makes his appearance occasionally and likes to snuggle up.There are a couple areas throughout the property where you can sit and enjoy a book or coffee or watch the hummingbirds.The property is a short 10 minute walk to the main town so you can easily visit the Saturday market or pick up snacks or takeout.Overall, we had a great stay and I would highly recommend staying here.
