I never got to eat there but when I asked if they had a specific food they were very kind and helpful and my friends order from Alberni Sushi so it's great.

Since new ownership, I've noticed nothing but problems. Tonight we ordered (regulars) the river couldn't find my house so they decided th3y won't be delivering our food. Unfortunate. I'd drive, but one kid is sleeping and have two others.Edit: since you closed, then reopened. I was outside the whole time and would have paid to have you come back, but you didn't even try and told me the driver went to a different address and wouldnt be able to deliver to me.

We have ordered from Alberni sushi a few times. Last night’s order was very disappointing. It tasted & looked like the real crabmeat roll was made from canned crab. The miso soup did not taste or look like miso. We spent $82 and their was NO wasabi or ginger put in with the order. We won’t be ordering from here again!!

Been there yesterday for dinner and we'll probably be back soon because the sushi is reeeeally good. There's quite a wide range of choices at a very fair price. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Changing my review. Went to dine in and it was great. Chef accommodated my partner with a surprise me chef's special, had some really good pieces of fish and rolls for him to try. Very high quality sushi!

Service was great and the food presentation was superb. And it tasted amazing, salmon was very fresh and the special sauces actually added flavour instead of a basic mayo. Compares with fancy sushi places in Vancouver!

Very delicious food, wonderful friendly helpful staff and a really pleasant surprise! Well worth the visit. The Yammy Yummy rolls were my favourite!! Very vegetarian friendly!!
